Update 2 (March 26): I tried to give this place another try, and my problems with the service only worsened. Knowing it was going to be a beautiful day, we made reservations online to join friends on the patio. The only options 4 days earlier were 4:45 or 8:00. We chose 4:45. When we showed up, they didn't have the reservation. We showed them our confirmation email. It didn't matter, they wouldn't seat us outside because 2 days after we booked our reservation, they booked the entire patio to a group of kids celebrating a 16th birthday sometime after my 4:45 reservation. They offered to seat us inside but we declined because the point was to be outside enjoying the day. After speaking to 3 people at the hostess stand, nobody could come up with a solution. Very frustrating. I'm dropping my original 2 stars to 1. BUT, the upside... We left there and went to Hugo's Lost Colony in Highland Village and enjoyed great food (beef fajitas) on a great patio while enjoying live music. I recommend it.

Original Review (1/22): Two stars is being generous based on our experience last night, but this place has potential. The food we got was better than decent, but the service experience was horrendous. I did find out that Sfereco's next door is owned by the same people and they are sharing staff. I was told by an employee at Primo's that they just brought over employees and didn't train them for Primo's. Perhaps that explains bad tasting and slowly delivered cocktails, very slow service despite lots of scurrying around, wrong food delivered to table twice, lack of water glass refills, painfully slow kitchen, tortillas not coming out with fajita order even after requesting them 3 times, nacho order that was ordered as an entree was finally delivered after the bill was settled, etc. etc. After settling the bill, we then noticed two extra entrees were on our bill. Trying to be nice about it, I suggested they just provide me a gift card for the amount so I can come try the place in a few months when they figure things out. They did provide a card, but it took 15 minutes to do that. It was a terrible experience last night, but if they can figure out the service, I think this can be a great place in the future.

Update to original review: Thank you to the owner for the response. As I said before, I think this place has lots of potential. Hopefully the service issues can be resolved sooner than later. I'll certainly be giving it another try soon. I'm looking forward to sitting on that great patio overlooking the Riverwalk while enjoying a margarita and lapping up a bowl of queso!
