Best Staples in Town
EDIT: After looking at some past reviews, I thought it might be helpful to mention they are under new management and much improved. I ordered a cheese pizza and a Caesar salad. They arrived promptly via a friendly delivery driver and made their way into my kitchen with all due haste. As you might expect, the pizza was in the requisite pizza box. The salad, however, was imprisoned within a paper bag held together by three staples. Three stubborn staples. Three of the unholiest bent wires this side of Hades. Oh, I tried to nicely open the bag, figuring the staples would release when pulled. I was wrong. Those spawn of industrial mega-clamps refused to release their grip even though I invoked the Power of Greyskull. Finally, giving one mighty heave of my Thor-like biceps, the bag exploded open, hurling the container of dressing out into the open air, where gravity promptly performed velocity = -9.81 m/s^2 * time on it, just like it always does. This left half the dressing in the container, and half on the mat/floor/baseboard beneath the sink. Summoning the speed of Mercury, I salvaged the container before our puppy Bailey could move in for the kill, then kept her at bay with semi-harsh words while I used the modern miracle of paper towels to haphazardly clean up the rest. With the crisis thereby managed to at least a minimum level of cleanliness, and with the expectation that Bailey would ensure that any remaining dressing was quickly dispatched, I was finally able to turn my attention to the food. It was delicious. The salad, however, could have used...

First, I want to stress that I have a rule not to waste food. Even if I don't care for the something, I typically manage to finish it with the understanding that I will never buy it again.
I ordered a small traditional Chicago-style pizza. I've eaten at Rosati's in Chicago a couple of times, as well as other well known pizzerias so I know firsthand what a Chicago-style pizza is supposed to taste like. This was not it!
I had eaten at the Lewisville location years ago and did not like it and never went back. I had a hankering for Chicago-style pizza and decided to give the Flower Mound location a try since it had been some years and this location had higher ratings. This was a MISTAKE! The pizza was just awful.
I managed to struggle eating two slices simply because I was hungry. I wanted a third slice, but simply could not stomach it any longer so I broke my rule and threw the remining slices in the trash! The crust was absolutely disgusting and there was something off about the sauce and overall texture of the pie.
I will continue ordering directly from Chicago and keep in my freezer when I need a Chi town pizza fix. A shipped frozen version from a couple of great places in Chicago is far better than a fresh bad one from this place. It was a complete waste of money!
Hmm... I am baffled by the high ratings especially if one is familiar with...
