My wife went in to surprise me with a homemade Banana shake that we have enjoyed from this location in the past many times. However, this was prior to running into one of the rudest, and unfriendly staff members that you could ever imagine dealing with. When my wife ordered the banana shake- she stated that we donāt have banana shakes. My wife than informed her that many times in the past that we have successfully ordered these in the past from this very location with staff members that simply made the shakes with vanilla ice cream with chopped up bananas mixed together. She stood by her strong stance that this could simply never be accomplished. My wife asked as she pointed to the bananas- so, you canāt mix those with the ice cream, and make a shake ? She said ā NOā my wife pointed to their menu board that shows Banana Smoothies, and asked her ā how do you make thoseā ? The employee simply stared straight ahead emotionless with no response!! My wife then asked for just a strawberry shake assuming there is no way this can fail. Wrong again - the employee responded with ā we are out of strawberry ice creamā So, the fail safe choice of just a vanilla shake was the last option. Even this transaction was a grossly display of pathetic service when the employee just handed the shake with the lid half off, and ice cream just sloppily caked all over both sides. No thank you - sorry, or anything else that would be considered an act of appreciation for a paying customer. Just simply that hollow unemotional could not care less stare- that was not necessary at that point because the message was already painfully clear. Message sent/received, and will NOT return, and will do my best to pass this story along to others that happen to frequent...

This individual Baskin-Robbins is obviously being run by someone who fails to honor contracts with companies that give out the $2 gift cards such as T-Mobile on Tuesday which obviously generates traffic flow for their business. The promotions clearly indicates that one has (7) days to use the $2 card from the day of issuance on that Tuesday. Previously, I have entered this location with the same type of $2 off card on the 31st to try and get use of the coupon and the store owner indicated to his employees that he will not take the $2 legitimate gift card as payment on the 31st of the month for his ice cream. The last time I checked when using any business gift card, the business is supposed to honor their issued gift card on any given day. This business management supervision or owner is failing to comply with their legitimately issued gift cards.
Dec 2018: This was a three star visit until found hair in my ice cream. It's always been a good pralines and cream quickie. Stopped by here to get the ice cream cake for the kids to snack on and a cup of ice cream for me. I had to return the cake because it had hair built into it. No it was not mine. Except for a couple of years ago, when the plumbing outage caused the bathrooms in the whole building to be shut down for a few weeks (for all businesses there) ...it has been outstanding. NOBODY's ICE CREAM BEATS Baskin & Robbins! We usually only see Cate these days (on the particular day of the week we go)...and I have to tell you, we have seen Cate get absolutely slammed by customers and she will continue to patiently and methodically tend to each customer, in turn. Without complaining. Without attitude.
As well, Cate is the ONLY one there that I have personally witnessed doing any cleaning. (Lately...every time we arrive.) Man, we're really gonna' miss Cate's happy smile when she goes off to college. We'll have to train a new person to have mom's scoop ready in a cup before we get her sat down...ha ha.
