RUDE employees, horrible ice cream preparation and RUDE MANAGER!!!! We live in a neighborhood off Old Fannin Road in Brandon. After dinner almost every night since the beginning of May of 2021, we have been going for dessert here. We use the drive-through for convenience. Consistently the employees get the order wrong and they NEVER read back the order at the drive-through and when we get to the window it is wrong MOST of the time. It happens almost every night. The most common mistake is when we order a simple chocolate sundae [not a hot fudge sundae], they put this gummy fudge on it as opposed to simple chocolate syrup as a chocolate sundae is supposed to. When I ask them to correct it, they are ALWAYS 100% consistently irritated with me and rude about it with a terrible attitude. We also usually get a “Dreamsicle Dipped Cone” and “Chocolate Dipped Cone”. Both usually come out lopsided, broken, or not completely dipped. The presentation is absolutely horrible, but even worse, they are usually a drippy melting mess with ice cream and/or the dipping ingredient dripping all over the side. Last night yet again, we went back to get dessert and the person at the window handed me a fudge sundae instead of a chocolate sundae. When I explained to him the difference, he looked at me like I was crazy and went to correct it. When he brought it back, it had maybe a small teaspoon of chocolate syrup on it and the ice cream was already half melted as if he had used the same ice cream from the previous mistake. I asked for a little more syrup and was told by the manager in a VERY RUDE TONE, that I would be charged for extra syrup. I just wanted more than a teaspoon full. I was told to pull up to the waiting area for the rest of the order. After waiting an unreasonable amount of time, the manager brought out the rest of the order. The sundae that was handed to me was melted a great deal so I asked them to make another one. The dipped cones were once again drippy and lopsided and the manager offered no apology and walked away when I explained to her that I was going to contact the franchise owner. There are two problems here. The first is the lack of training in most of the staff working ice cream orders. Second and most important is that the manager in the evenings is EXCEPTIONALLY RUDE and has a terrible customer service attitude. We love to have dessert at Dairy Queen, but because of the horrible preparation of the ice cream and even worse customer service by ALL who work the window, we will no longer go there. Read moreI go here all the time. Never an issue until yesterday. Practically get the same thing every time I go. The seven dollar meal chicken strips and will substitute will a blizzard or 4 chicken strip meal with a small mocha moo latte. So yesterday I decided to go before work. My ticket checkout read 3:37 pm. Anyway I asked for the 4 piece chicken strip meal with a mocha moo latte. I get to the window pay, the young lady proceeded to give me drink but it was incorrect. She said I asked for a white mocha shake I said no ma’am I asked for a mocha moo latte. She told whoever was working In the ice cream area and asked for me to pull down. A young man brought my food and a lady that I’m going to assume had fixed my “latte” brought my drink. Upon looking at it I told her that wasn’t the right drink. It was white. She proceeded to get argumentative with me and stated it was. I said, ma’am I get a mocha moo latte all the time and have been getting them for years. Even when I was in college and going to the dairy in Brookhaven, Ms. I love these drinks so and everywhere I go to a Dairy Queen they’ve been the same. She proceeded to say that my drink has been made wrong. I told her the drink is supposed be blended with coffee and fudge. She said no, they don’t blend fudge with anything and my drink is supposed to have vanilla in it. I wasn’t about to argue about something I’ve been getting for years and paying money for so I asked for a refund. She proceeded to walk off, threw the drink I gave back to her a way in the trash can that was in front of my car and began stating how she’s about to go, she’s tired of dealing with “these” customers, and proceeded to tell someone as she was opening the door, tell “I didn’t hear the name” she need to come get her customers. She refunded my money and I left. Due to this madness I was late for work. Read moreThe Flowood location has really gone down over the past couple of years. Employees used to be friendly and food was fresh and order was correct. I went through the drive through for the last time tonight. I have put up with being overcharged, not getting what I ordered, and being treated like I am a bother for the last time. I will not go back to Flowood location. Tonight they tried to overcharge me again and I called them out for it. Then I did not get what I asked for so I went back to the window to try and get it corrected. When I explained to the 3rd person what I wanted he took the first blizzard and went to make another one. When I took the top off the exact thing I had asked him to leave off was all over the top. When I got home the blizzard was full of that one thing I did not want. I had to throw it away. That was obviously done on purpose. I guess they were mad because I would not let them overcharge me again and I came back because I did not get what I ordered, so they thought that would be funny. Great way to run a business. The Flowood Dairy Queen employees need a lesson from the Flowood Chick- fila employees.
