Hear ye! Hear ye! They are here, yey! Foundation Burger is finally open, and they are serving up some mouthwatering smash burgers. Each burger includes 2 smash patties, you can get a signature burger, or build it yourself. I got The Shroom burger, minus the arugula, added lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and added a fried runny egg. He got the Melt, and added even more cheese (Swiss), and bacon. Made it a combo for $5 which includes fries and a drink. When my burger came out, it looked like a monster smash burger! These weren't just regular suateed mushrooms, but baby portobello mushrooms, and the caramelized onions were delish. Loved the buttered Brioche bread, although it was a big burger, the bread was light, so I felt like I was eating a lower carb burger 😆 Why am I lying to myself? His patty melt was juicy, and plenty of crispy bacon. Since I've been pregnant, I eat saltier, so I needed a little more seasoning and salt on everything. He said it was fine the way it was. Service was great and I ran into two Flowood neighbors while we were there. Set up is pretty forward, when you enter through the doors, following the smiling faces. Order your food at the counter, pay, then have a seat. They call out your name at the counter for pick up, but if they aren't busy, they'll bring you your food. Once you're done eating, the employees told us to leave it at the table and they'll come collect the trays. They're located next to Fannin Mart, in the same parking lot as Cerami's. Included a menu for yall. Congratulations on your opening Kendall Adkins and Kristen Adkins !! Hoping to see many more restaurants from yall to come.

We were craving burgers but didn't want typical drive-thru food and weren't in the mood to sit down in a restaurant to eat. We'd heard great things about Foundation Burger and decided to give it a try.....I'm so mad at myself for living so close to this place and just now giving it a try. The restaurant was clean. The setup is much like most pickup restaurants: walk in, order, get your food, and either sit down to eat or get it to go. There are also a few tables outside. The cashier was very friendly and delivered her service with a smile. (Always a huge plus for me). Now...the food! I got the BLTB and my husband got the smokehouse burger. We both also go the loaded fries. We weren't expecting the size of the loaded fries. We most definitely could have shared a order. The BLTB was huge, perfectly cooked and super flavorful. My husband said the smokehouse burger was great and the bacon on it was crispy (he's not a fan of rubbery bacon). The fries we perfectly cheesy with bits of bacon, sour cream, and green onion. Really good! I ate two meals from my burger and loaded fries and was full BOTH times. We spent a little less than $40. Totally worth it. Will definitely be going back. I want to try all their burgers but it's going to be hard to beat that BLTB.

Went on 8-3-23 for the grand opening around 8pm. Pros: My food was cooked fresh and did not take long at all. I got the patty melt with fried Jalapeño added. Even though it was a smash burger it was huge and tasty. This is a really clean and good place. I think I found my new burger joint. The service was good as well. Cons: I had to take some home for my wife and I was just offered a piece of burger rap and a cup for fries. Not even a bag to put it in. It would be nice to have a paper to go container for leftovers. This is small Nit picking and I know it's due to being a new place and trying to figure things out. I know this and other things will make this place even better. I still give it a 10/10. Keep up the good work!

Let me start by making it clear that anyone with a normal pallet for eating hamburgers would never go anywhere else after trying a foundation burger, unfortunately im a little strange when it comes to hamburgers. This would be the absolute most delicious hamburgers I could ever dream of finding anywhere in the world, if only, they would accept requests to cook the burger extra long and extra well done if ordered. I understand the whole cooks don't want to ruin a good thing by over cooking meat, but us extra well done, halfway burnt customers are super serious about what makes a burger done enough to fully enjoy and eat beyond the edges. Other than that, these burgers have it all to make it the perfect burger. 2 Thin patties, real meat, great toasted bun, perfect bacon, all the fixing s you can imagine. I recommend the joint to everyone I talk to that is looking for an amazing Hamburger. It would be just absolutely perfect if I didn't have to take mine home and cook it for 5 or 10vmore minutes. They did actually cook it enough for me the 2nd time I ate one and I've been hooked ever since. Maybe they will let us sign a waiver stating we won't dare complain if we think it's too done or burnt! You can't get too done for me, unless maybe it completely looks like a piece of charcoal but other than that. (Yes, I understand its not healthy to over cook meat, but oh well) If only those folks waiting in the long line at that place across the street knew something so amazing was on the other side with zero to little wait time. I still don't understand that one really! Yall go try a foundation burger! You won't be disappointed, if you are normal. It's definitely...
