My husband and I decided to go to Logan's Roadhouse since everything in Jackson was closing. They closed at 11 so we made it in about 10:15pm. So Yes, I understand some of the employees may have been there all-day and was ready to close down and go home. But as a paying customer, if you are paid to be at work until 11pm then, why should my drink, and food come out so disgusting. I'm not one to complain but as a business the products was just untasteful. I order a frozen daiquiri in the fish bowl. When the waitress brought my drink to the table. In my mind I said this is going to be a bad experience. The daiquiri was prepared half on ice the other half frozen. So basically my drink had ice cubes at the bottom and then frozen ice at the top. No alcohol and I don't even drink. I mean a half of a wine cooler and I am toasted. So absolutely, no alcohol. Then the waitress only served us two rolls, Ok I get it. Then when the food came my chicken was Lemon Herb Chicken over rice with broccoli. The chicken was so greasy I could dab the oil from the top wit my napkin, (like a pot hole filled with water) the cheesy rice was, YUCK! it had a cheesy sweet taste. The broccoli was perfect! The queso I order had a sweet taste to it which is something new, that was dissatisfying. We are all feeling overworked and underpaid in this economy but please take into consideration what some may be coming into your establishment for regardless, if it is 6 minutes to closing. If I pay full price for my food I should be able to experience the good products and service. I also say service because I have worked as a waitress before and I know how those tips matter. If I felt the cook food was not up to my satisfaction either I'm going back to help the cook reprepare the meal or advising the customer to order something else. That is good customer skills. As a cook Don't send a customer something you would not eat or feed your family. IF WE ALL STOP CARING THEN WHY SHOULD YOUR BOSS CARE TO PAY YOU FOR WORKING. Just like he has to pay you as a waitress or cook, you as the waitress and cook signed an agreement upon hiring that you would provide good customer service because that is the environment...
Read moreI usually always have good service at this location, however this time was slightly off. The waitress took our orders, she left and never came back, we had to ask for rolls for the table(it was only two of us) anywho we also ordered drinks, she proceeded to tell us she doesnt like taking drink orders because they usually never come out right and customers complain, yet we still ordered them. We got our food and drinks both were delicious, we didnt realize the drinks would be that small so we ordered two more (wasnt a regular menu drink it was a limited time drink dont remember the name) but back to the story, this time they didnt come so fast, 5 mins turned into 10, 10 turned into 15, 15 turned into 20 and it was not crowded in there not many customers but by this time we have to go because we were catching a movie afterwards and it started 5 mins ago, so the drinks come but they were horrible this time but we dont have time to complain we just want to pay so we can go. The waitress is now attending to a big party of people so we wait, the party of people is close to us and we could see she seemed aggravated at the table because they didnt know what they want yet, she then stops another waitress and tells her that she is not taking that big order she has other customers to help and demands the other waitress to take over, she brings our receipt, we pay, and leave. By no means was our waitress mean or rude to us, very friendly, but it was obvious she doesnt do well in high pressure situations, i am a easy customer I probably wouldn't have even noticed her having a melt down or the long wait if I wasnt on a schedule so overall it wasn't a bad experience just was ......
Read moreI don't usually leave a bad review. It's got to be a really bad experience for me to leave one. We were a party of four adults and two kids. We placed our orders and specifically requested for the kids food to be served first. I ordered the chicken fried steak w/mashed potatoes and broccoli, the men ordered steaks and the other adult ordered Salmon. My chicken fried steak came out barely warm with dried gravy on top. The entire entrée was luke warm. No other food came out. I requested my meal to be completely recooked. The server took it to the cook who just poured hot gravy on the steak and mashed potatoes and sent the plate back out. Same cold food. We requested the manager. He came out, we explained the problem and again requested the children's meal to be served before ours so they could go ahead and eat. The manager went back to talk to the cook. One kids meal was served. After about 15 mins, the rest of the food was served. Both men's steaks were very bland with no taste and the filet mignon had to be sent back and cooked longer. This was our 2nd experience at this Logan's Roadhouse and both experiences were not good. We definitely won't be back. We were told by the manager that one cook didn't show up and another was called in, and they were getting caught up on orders. This is unacceptable service especially for what meals out cost these days. Take your family somewhere else for service (and a hot tasty meal) that...
