Papito's Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Flowood

Things started off wrong at the door. I requested a booth due to dining with little ones. I was told it wasn’t any available. We were about to be seated when we were then informed it will be a 15 minute wait. I was assuming they were going to have us waiting for a booth to be available; we were still seated at a table. We waited about 10 to 15 minutes before the waiter came to the table to get our drink order. We ordered cheese dip which normally comes right out but I had to request it once our food came out. The cheese dip was so spicy that I left the entire serving at the table. Once we got our food, noticed the quesadilla had beans on it. I informed the waiter that it should of been a quesadilla with chicken and cheese with a side order of rice. He proceeded to tell me something was ordered that I couldn’t even pronounce so I know it wasn’t what was ordered. It was like he didn’t want to correct what was wrong. We told them do not worry about making the correction, just take it off the ticket. This experience was by far the worse experience I had at a Mexican restaurant. Went after a pageant, we had a party of 6 and called before to make sure they could take us/make sure there was no wait. we walked in and got seated immediately. Straight off the bat our server was extremely slow to come and get any drink orders, our chips (which came quickly) we’re already gone by the time our drinks arrived. she gave us extreme attitude, and was just straight up rude. next, it took her at least 45 mins to come back around and take any food orders. 5 happy plates and 1 order of shrimp tacos. another 30 minutes later all 6 plates of food came out cold. at this point the entire table was fed up and exhausted. so all we wanted to do was pay our tab and leave. the tab came and we were going to split it 50/50. 50$ with cash and 50$ on a card. but unbeknownst to us she charged an extra 50$ on the card we used and still took 50$ in cash. so she took 50 extra dollars (which we assume, she thought was her “tip”) when she did not deserve any sort of tip. do not come eat here, they obviously hire anyone with two legs and a pair of eyes. many better options in this area, especially for...

I visited this restaurant last night and was severely disappointed. I ordered a taco trio and received 3 tacos that only consisted of one with only shrimp one with only carnitas and one with only steak. For $13 I at least expected a side or something too but a I got was 3 naked tacos. Something that looked like it came off the kids menu even though the menu describes the entree completely different than 3 naked/boring tacos with no flavor. I didn’t eat it I sent it back and the short stubby lady with a short haircut came out to tell me I was around about the menu description (although I clearly wasn’t because the menu states something totally different than what I was served. Then had the nerve to tell me it was “common sense” and I should’ve known better when ordering my entree. As a restaurant manager myself I felt the need to raise my voice and tell her about her poor management skills but it it obvious so I didn’t eat anything while dining here with my friend and his son.
