First time trying this place, and it was really great! The refried beans are not vegetarian as I was told they are made with lard, as is the rice. If you're vegetarian, then they do have black beans available upon request. I ordered a veggie fajita, which had onion, tomato, and bell peppers along with homemade corn tortillas and a side of black beans. I also highly recommend their Mexicana Guac. Holy smokes! This place is the real deal! We were pleasantly greeted upon entry and seated quickly. The chips were thick and made in house from real corn tortilla. The salsa was just a little spicy, which we loved. The items on the menu are different than what you would find in a normal American Mexican restaurant, this place offers more authentic Mexican food. If you’re looking for REAL authentic Mexican food you have to eat here! Their “sour cream” is actual Mexican crema if that tells you anything. I ordered a sope that was absolutely delicious. Their asada was very flavorful and juicy. My husband got a taco al pastor, which was the best Al pastor you’ll probably find here in Foley!
