What an interesting candy shop! They have a pretty wide assortment of both popular and obscure brands, from nostalgic classic candies like Abba-Zabba to Jelly Belly jelly beans in flavors I've never seen for sale anywhere else around here. And a whole lot more. Also a nice selection of taffies, sour gummies and other things that should please the young and young at heart.

In addition to branded candies and confections, they also sell their own fresh fudge, popcorn, ice cream and some snacky-type stuff like pizzas and nachos. There's even a small stand of boutique sodas. Grass flavored soda, anyone? How about PB&J? They got all that, and more. Gift cards are available, too.

It's a pleasant place to shop, and they did a wonderful job restoring the old building right in the heart of Uptown Foley. If there's a downside, it's the prices. I don't know if if these are the same "tourist prices" their place down at The Purple Octopus have, or what, but they are borderline insane on some of the items. But, considering the specialist nature of the business, I guess some of that is to be expected. Still, I experienced some sticker shock on some of the more obscure...

I wouldn't say Yabba's was awesome, but it was okay. They have a tremendous selection of candy items and numerous ice cream flavors. We thought the store could have smelled better. It didn't smell bad, but it didn't have the inviting smell of fresh-cooked popcorn, cotton candy, chocolate fudge or other things one would associate with a candy store. Also, there were several employees behind the ice cream counter and none wore a mask. We browsed throughout the store and not one employee spoke to us or asked if we needed assistance. That would be understandable if the store had been crowded but there were only about a half-dozen people there. During this time when small businesses are struggling, every customer is important and employees can do much to make customers feel welcomed. We left without buying anything this time but we may...

Probably the best burger in Foley!! We are regular customers at Yabbas, our kids love it and they have the greatest collection of candy around here. My kids love going to Yabbas for ice cream since they offer such a variety of flavors. But we have never eaten the food there. We just kind of assumed it was frozen stadium type food. Boy were we wrong! That was the juiciest most perfectly seasoned burger I've had around here! And the queso on the nachos was delicious!!! Im pretty sure it is house made as well. We will definitely be returning for burger dates in the future! Oh and the rich fudge was worth every penny! Yabbas is reasonably priced and I've never once had a bad experience with anything I've bought there. And her shirts are super soft as well! You must stop in and see what all Yabbas...

We visited here for lunch while in downtown Foley. We loved the decorations in the dining area, and were pleased to find they had more than just candy and ice cream. They had a menu of hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos and tacos, and all of it is made fresh. For example, the hamburger patties are not frozen and shipped, instead they are pressed fresh and cooked when ordered. The burgers were delicious! There was a bit of a wait, but we were free to wander around their very fun store and browse while we waited. They have indoor and outdoor seating as well. Parking is best in the lot across from Centennial Park on the same side of the street as Yabbas. Definitely worth a visit whether you have kids or not!

great expense at Yabba’s today! they have every candy you can imagine (and some that you’ll never imagine) and more! they have burgers, nachos, tacos and hotdogs amongst other lunch and snack foods. a bunch of great fudge that you can sample in flavors like chocolate mint, peanut butter, raspberry, blueberry, cookies and cream, and others. the employees working today were very sweet and helpful! we will certainly be back :)

Great place for kids. When you walk in you can smell all different kinds of sweets and treats. We got chocolate peanut butter milkshakes when we went. They serve Hershey's Ice cream here which is amazing. The amount of candy options in here ranging from classics to new candies I've never even heard of is insane. A true sweet tooth's dream!
