This place used to be great, but went downhill kinda fast over the last couple years. First, the employees at the cash register do not even say "next" to the next customer in line. Second, the food always comes out like twice as long was we're promised! I've also noticed the quality of the food has gone downhill too. When we last ate here, which was Saturday, February 4, our burger buns were a little too crunchy for our liking, which tells me that they might have been overtoasted. My dad even thought his patty was cold! Their fries have been a little soggy lately and not as hot. I got their new Parmesan Garlic Fries and they did not taste very garlicky or parmesany to me at all! I think they just lightly drizzled a very cheap parmesan garlic sauce on them. My mom got onion rings, I tried a couple of hers and they were BLAND! I also got a shake and they left it sitting on the counter without saying a word until the rest of our order was ready. This was after 6 PM that evening and we were NOT the only customers in there that had angry looks on their faces. I heard another customer that evening say "finally" in a rather angry tone of voice when their food was ready. When we walked in here, there was an employee at the front telling every customer how long their food might take. I saw a group of guys walk right out shortly after walking in after the employee at the front told them that their food would take at least 25 minutes. All in all, this restaurant seriously lacks customer service on top of poor quality food. I am never going...
Read moreThis is a review of the Folsom Habit Burger, not the company as a whole. If i was judging the other locations i have eaten at the score would be 4 stars. The only reason this review recieves a 2 instead of a 1 is because the food is honestly good and I don't want to scare people away.
I went to the Folsom Habit Burger after work and placed my order. I am a somewhat picky eater but my burger should not be difficult to make. Bun, patty, lettuce, onion. The server assured me the order would be done correctly (I told her about two previous orders that were prepared incorrectly) so i took my bag of food and went home. Well, when i get home there is ketchup and tomatoes on one of my burgers.
After deciding I would just take my burger back and get a refund, the girl tried to convince me to get a new burger. I asked for a refund on my entire order (2 burgers and an onion rings) to counter the costs of having to do a second trip to the restaurant and i was told i would only be reimbursed for the one burger they made a mistake on.
After calling their corporate office they were extremely apologetic and offered to send me a gift card to make up for the missing money. I accepted and will return to one of their other locations (the location on Sunrise and Madison is great) but will not be back to the...
Read moreSure dig the menu offerings at the Habit. It goes beyond the basic burgers and fries. The hamburgers are chargrilled giving it that smoky flavor. The grilled chicken sandwiches are moist and tender. Offered in teriyaki and BBQ flavor. The ahi tuna filet sandwich is also grilled and all so yummy. The portabella mushroom is grilled to a smoky, carmelized flavor. They have an impossible burger and veggie sandwich for the vegetarians. Crispy fried green beans. Sweet potato fries. Four different kinds of salads. Onion rings. Hand spun milkshakes, cones, and sundaes. Besides the HFCS fountain sodas, they offer two types of iced teas and two flavors of lemonade that are made with cane sugar, no HFCS.
You can order on an app, at the onsite self serve kiosk, or in person with a human being. Have been a long time customer at this Folsom location. The current staff has been great, no complaints. On my last visit, Hubs and I dined in for a late weekday dinner. We enjoyed the food. But the majority of tables needed a wipe down and floors directly under the tables sure did need a sweeping. The third table we approached was clean enough to sit at. The other two had kibbles n bites on the table, seats,...
