I am a very regular customer who comes after 1 AM. When the person taking my order is Kathy, my orders are always correct and exactly what I pay for. I went on two separate occasions where it was a young man taking my order. Apparently during those days it’s also a different chef. I got my ham burrito without sour cream and didn’t think much of it just thought that they forgot. A couple days later I went again and I explicitly told the drive-through make sure they put sour cream since it was missing last time. He assured me that they would put sour cream. I get home and there’s no sour cream. the next day I go in person around two in the afternoon and I explain the situation, the lady said she cannot give me a refund unless I had the receipts. I did not have the receipts because I was not in my car that day. But I do have them. I left my phone number and she said she would give it to the manager so that he could call me and it has been about two weeks and I have not received a phone call. I let Kathy know what happened and she explained to me that Should try to go in person in the morning in order to catch the manager when he’s there. Super lame that he Could not be proactive about it and give me a call. The food is only good when Kathy is there otherwise, whoever that chef is, is not doing his job. Read moreThis place has pretty good food, but unlike places like Baker's, if they mess up with your order they do not handle it well at all. I ordered the super fries with carnitas, which is usually really good, but they gave me super fries with carne asada. I don't really like carne asada but I figured I would eat it instead of driving all the way back (I live relatively far). As I was eating the fries I noticed a lot of them were not cooked all the way and were kind of hard. It was pretty gross. I called them to let them know and instead of being apologetic and understanding they were defensive and rude. Most places will take your name down and give you a complimentary replacement the next time you come, whereas this Alberto's said I have to bring the food back. I think that is a bit silly when you think about it because most people do not want to drive back that same day and who is going to keep the old food in their house for a week or so until they feel like going back. I used to go here at least once every other week. I will no longer be going here, so just from a business perspective I would say this policy is a mistake. But i ordered a drink coke and it tasted flat so i asked the cashier can you give me a diffrent flavor it dont taste right. She gave me a look like really so i waited patiently for my drink comes back and my daughter and I tasted it again and it was the same so i went back to let her know and she answers me we changed the machine not sure what she ment but i just said it taste flat she than tells me well i already gave you to drinks what do you want i said give me a diffrent flavor shes said no rudely and tell me what do you want a refund i said no can you just give me a jamaica mind you i have my daughter with me it was very disrespectful if shes having a bad day stay home.
