This the perfect little dive bar. Not crowded. The times that Iāve been have not been busy. Just a small crowd. You will notice the same people if you go 3 times or more so you know itās a neighborhood bar that has some loyal customers. Kinda every one knows each other but not every customer is a regular. They have a pool table & darts. My favorite part so far about going there is when thereās a song on the jukebox & everyone knows the words & theyāre all singing. Half the time itās a song Iāve never heard so the song isnāt necessarily a typical ābarā song. And there are some good singers in the mix! I like that when everyone starts singing theyāre not bothering anybody. You canāt really do that at Bostonās! Lastly, all the girls (bartenders) are totally sweet, know their stuff, provide great service & are in good happy moods & donāt make you feel like youāre bothering them. And I also have to credit the one gentleman that works there & is there every single night. When itās close to closing heās there washing glasses, sweeping floors, pouring the very last drink for someone, cleaning bar top, whatever needs to be done to help the girls close down. And if you still have a few gulps in your glass, heās not one to rush out you out. He lets you finish it. Then get out! Im sorry that I donāt know what his position is but Iām certain heās either manager or owner. For me, being a single lady going there alone (not lonely!), I feel very at ease, comfortable & safe. Even when I leave & go to my car. Thereās always 4 or 5 of us walking out at the same time. Excuse the long review but if you canāt tell I RECOMMEND hanging out at Cherpās. I hardly go to bar bars but this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI don't make people feel uncomfortable. š None of the 20+ people at my 40th birthday party have ever said that about me. I still think there's some sort of misunderstanding. The bar owner Toi changed her story, before it was that I harassed people, which I don't do either. š I'm just a decent guy who treats people with respect. Cherp's Cocktails in Fontana, California is the only establishment I'm banned from in the entire United States, the world even. And it's the only bar I've ever been banned from.
I just want to stop by and have a drink or two every now and then. And I'd stop handing out my business cards as much, I had just gotten 2,000 of them printed is the reason I was handing them out. And besides, hardly anyone even contacted me because of them, and I did not harass those people or make them feel uncomfortable either.
I went to the VFW in Monrovia recently, the place was packed that night, and nobody there said I made them feel uncomfortable. There was a party at my house recently for a birthday, about 18 or 19 people were here, and nobody said I made them feel uncomfortable.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo passing through Fontana last Sunday I decided since it was after all Super Bowl day, I would enjoy finding a close spot to enjoy the festivities. Little did I know it would be the most fun with my clothes on in a long time. A neighborhood pub with a small but delicious menu, I would recommend the pastrami fries and wings, I was immediately welcomed by the incredible staff and patrons. Being from West Virginia, I was hoping for a Cincinnati win and was wondering if I'd be the only one in CA to root for the Bengals but it was 50/50 and everyone had a good time. I ended up staying the whole evening, won a t-shirt and ate and drank the entire time with round trip Uber and tab, all under 100 bucks. I will be visiting again for sure. Thanks Rachel and Tony for...
