Cornerstone Pub & Grill — Restaurant in Forest Grove

Stopped in for lunch... I have been meaning to try this place as it has good reviews and I pass it everyday. It was a nice place for a burger. The staff was super friendly and quick..made good suggestions to try for a first timer. I had the burger with a fried egg on it. It was good. Egg was cooked a bit more done than I personally prefer bit was a nice addition to the burger. The house sauce was surprisingly delightful as well, consisting of a Dijon mustard and mayo base .. the bacon was perfect ..crispy melt in your mouth kind. I opted for tots to go with the burger and wasn't let down. They were not as gressy as other places tots..and the portion size was perfect. I chose the amber beer on tap and was pleased at how well it went with the heavier burger..nice and smooth . The place was small, but roomy inside. With plenty of seating. I will be back to try other items off the menu as I think this place has a lot to offer, and the price range was very affordable. Thanks for the satisfying lunch! See you again soon!

Update 6-28-23 Today I had the Irish cheesesteak . Absolutely delicious. Great flavor! Just the right amount of ingredients to bun ratio. And the cream cheese was well placed. I ordered it with tots, again, and was not disappointed. Large enough portion I won't be hungry till tomorrow. The waitress was extremely friendly and the food came out quick and steamy hot! Cornerstone is just AMAZING! Great atmosphere and service. The food, oh the food! Where to begin? Cajun fries are to perfection, every burger is top notch, the onion rings are perfectly battered and fried and meaty. The Irish-cheese steak is a cool twist on the philly, but there's nothing light about it, it's serious deliciousness! The house ranch is perfection. Even the portobella burger is hearty! A place that sells something called FREEDOM FRIES I am in!!! I hope you like garlic and parmesan because that is what you get with every delicious bite, not for the faint of heart (or vampires) wash it down with the Holy Water they call "Raspberry Cider" on the menu (sorry kids adults only with this one).
