I have never done anything like this before but I cannot stay silent on an issue regarding corporate Dutch Brothers!
Let me begin by saying I have been a long time supporter of Dutch Brothers. Especially the Forest Grove location. In fact I have been a customer from the very first day they opened. Until this July Jamie and Lagrand Davis were the owners of this franchised location. They worked very hard for the first seven years just to make enough to pay the bills. They continued to work hard to make it a profitable business. They did everything right! Their employees love them! And so do their customers. So what is my complaint?
This July corporate Dutch Brothers decided to exercise their option to purchase this location back. Jamie and LaGrand did NOT want to sell. In fact coffee is all they have ever known. Jamie grew up in the coffee industry, her uncle Dane being one of the founders. Dutch Brothers has literally ripped the Davis families livelihood from them! All they wanted to do was continue to run the location that they had started and built up and were hoping to open another location nearby.
If the Davis family was running this location into the ground or running the business unethically I can understand Dutch Brothers exercising this option. But this is simply not the case. This was nothing less than an un-ethical decision to rob the Davis family of a profitable location! As such I will not be supporting Dutch Brothers until such a time as they restore this location to Jamie and LaGrand Davis!

Read moreWaited in a 35 minute line for a drink. Asked for no coconut in it. Received extra coconut - had to reenter the line to wait another 30+ minutes (I’m not exaggerating). Just for them to tell us our order was “put into the wrong line and would get lost in the chaos”. There was no way to switch to get into the other line. Then for them to tell us that the Rebel wasn’t working anymore. Not offered a discount or anything. This is the only Dutch Bros that has messed up our orders SO many times. The people are incredibly rude too. I kindly said we already waited in this incredibly long line once could we please just get our drink for them to tell us no and to move to the other line. I work in food service. I have been a barista/bartender/server. If YOU made a mistake on the order you rush it to the front and run it and do everything you can to make it right. Every time we’ve been here we have had a HORRIBLE experience. The one in Cornelius is slightly better, but honestly just go somewhere else. This place is a waste of money. I won’t be back here and I won’t be to the Cornelius one, because I know it’s the same owner. I’m done with Dutch Bros. I’d rather drive to the small coffee shop in the middle of nowhere Gaston. I’m so incredibly upset with the...
Read moreI used to love this location but after the last few visits it has been a pattern of utter disappointment. I used to get the nitro cold brew but it became a spit of coffee over a tower of ice not even filled to the top. So the next time I asked for it without ice and only a quarter of the large cup was filed with nitro cold brew. I was told that’s just the way the serving size fits and that’s why they use so much ice. Fine, I’ll get nitro somewhere else and changed my drink order to an Americano. But of course, the one time I used my birthday freebie I ordered a large iced americano with a splash of protein milk. I get a medium watered down version of an americano. I can’t even drink it as my Keurig coffee tastes stronger and more flavorful than this. So incredibly disappointing that this used to be my go to coffee place and now I don’t see a reason to go back. If you want a sugary coffee drink then it’s great, but if you actually enjoy the taste and flavor of coffee this place has become overpriced and weak, especially when you have so many other options here in town. I’m sad and...
