Telvet Coffee — Restaurant in Forest Grove

I really wanted to give this place a good review as it is in my new neighborhood, so it would have been a joy to be able to walk a few blocks to have breakfast. So, no wait staff; you have to order at the counter, then pay and it asks for a tip prior to any service. At the table there is NO silverware, napkins, salt and pepper, or condiments. Now, the food comes and the the eggs are over done (I ask for over medium) and only one of the yolks was part way runny. The edges were crispy due to the grill being too hot, nor were they cooked in butter, but oil. I only received one piece of unbuttered toast, two pieces of bacon, and just a handful of fried potatoes that were still white in color, not a golden brown. And still no condiments, but I did get a fork, knife and one tiny paper napkin. On to the cashier; very cold, not even a smile or hello. She looked miserable. Then, when you are done eating, you must bus your own dishes! I was the only one there when it was time to go and she never said anything; not a good-bye, have a nice day, thanks for coming in, can I get you anything else, nothing! And they expect tips????? Could be really good but too inconsistent with service. Ordered eggs over-easy through DoorDash and when they came, the yokes had obviously broke while they were being cooked and they looked more like poorly scrambled eggs. Earlier this week I ordered 2 traditional plates, both with an extra side of potatoes for takeout. When we opened them we found no extra potatoes. Called to let them know and they insisted they added them then got annoyed when I said they weren’t there. They told me they would refund the difference and never did. Not surprised since the girl I spoke with was annoyed and argumentative from the beginning. Never got an apology. Mistakes happen but own them and fix them. One of my favorite new coffee hangouts I've discovered. I love there many different breakfast selections. Especially there bagel breakfast sandwiches. I'm in the love with there fall Pumpkin Pie Latte coffee! ☕🍁 I order the 16 oz.with an extra shot of coffee w/whip. They have a cozy atmosphere which I love. And if you're one of those customers like me, that constantly returning for more yummies... then they have a loyalty reward card you can have stamped and when filled you earn a free treat, I don't know what that is...
