We were in your restaurant a month ago or so and remembering how good your Margaritas were so when the Japanese restaurant we were going to wasn't open so we remembered your restaurant . We tried to order a margarita but wasn't sure if she understood. When she finally came I couldn't taste any liquor in it so when I couldn't feel anything after I drank the whole thing, I told the other Spanish speaking lady I don't think she put any liquor in it. She came back with a margarita that was the worst I have ever had. Our food came but they also brought a plate we didn't order that looked expensive. About that time Dana walks in and we call her over because she was the one that served us the wonderful tasting margaritas. We told her these taste horrible and we weren't going to come back. She said wait and let me get you a good margarita. When she came back with the margaritas they were just like we remembered, .If Dana hadn't come in at that time you would have lost a customer and now your our favorite restaurant because of the Margarita. Looking at how disorganized it was before Dana came in you need to make manager. She was very personable and I thought she came across as a leader ,If your going to succeed you need somebody like Dana to have your back.

Food was great. Speaking as a Mexican woman I can tell you the rice and beans tasted authentic. Like my mom made them. The salsa felt a bit tasteless though (the one that came with the chips) it was mostly tomatoes. Still homemade. The service is give 2 stars. Friendly enough but when I walked in there was no one there. No customers, no one behind the desk. I honestly thought it was closed because it’s also so dark in there since they don’t have any windows. But a young girl came out and told me to sit anywhere - even though the sign says wait to be seated. After I ate I was looking to pay but no one came back to my table after my food was served. I was left alone in the room and when I was done I went and waited at the counter to pay. Eventually when no one came I had to peak into the kitchen just to pay. I felt bad but I also needed to leave. Again friendly enough, but customer service just isn’t there.

I was in the area and tried this place based on other reviews. It was great! I got 3 street tacos (carne asada, carnitas, and al pastor) and all 3 tacos were excellent. I also ordered a margarita and was pleasantly surprised because it was strong and not too sweet, and for $10 it was much larger than cocktails at other places. The chips & salsa for the table were fresh, the chips were warm and the salsa was home made and had just a bit of hot pepper spice. My friend also had tacos with rice and beans, and the beans were very authentic. I will definitely be back!

A fairly new establishment with delicious Mexican food. Wonderfully decorative and the owner is super nice. I had accidentally spilled some of her homemade salsa on my blouse, and she brought me a clean towel with some Dawn on it to treat it. I appreciated that so much. Last time we went, we had company up from San Diego and they were impressed, not only with the quality of ingredients, but also the tasty margarita and samples of their home-made sauces. Highly recommend this place. If I had to have one thing to advise to improve on, is the chips. But then again, with salsa being that good, who cares? So happy they are local and...
