I recently had the pleasure of visiting Vex Bar during one of their events and it was an amazing experience! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, which set the tone for a fantastic night. I ordered the espresso martini, which was perfectly balanced. We also ordered the meatballs, tiramisu, and chocolate mousse -- all expertly prepared and presented. The highlight of the evening was Drag Queen Trivia with the incomparable Autumn Rainz. Her energy was infectious and the trivia was fun and challenging. I highly recommend Vex Bar for any night out. The staff were friendly, the food and drinks were exceptional, and the entertainment was top-notch. But don't take my word for it, come see for yourself!

Vex, the bar, is now vEX, the Vietnamese Experience. Yen and Dustin are really molding this into a unique place. The bar had creative cocktails and the kitchen changes the menu weekly. Yen wants people to experience the food she grew up with and loves. I recommend the Spicy Dumplings, the fillings are amazing. I get them done non-spicy and could DRINK the sauce she serves them with - ask for a baguette or rice to soak up all the flavors.

The ambience perfect. The food...amazing, flavors of Vietnam superb. AND the owners... what wonderful FG people wanting to share their food and hospitality with us all. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. A+ *

Edit: I have been back twice in one week since this review with my guests (1-3) and tasted more dishes and drinks. Each time I/we are treated more like family than customers. Of note: exotic fruit dessert is complimentary!

Dustin and Yen are delightful with big hearts, savvy restaurant skills, likeable personalities, an exciting vision, and so much more.

I did not know these people until I walked through their doors. I have no affiliation to this establishment. My only motivation: to have them succeed because Forest Grove deserves this spot… and they too, our neighbors, deserve our business.

Go!!! And experience Vietnam! You...

My husband and I finally stopped in the other day to Vex and we loved everything. The food and drinks tasted amazing but the experience was one of a kind, especially in forest grove. You can tell the owners give it their all when it comes to choosing the ingredients for the food and making the perfect cocktails. Nonalcoholic options as well as options for dietary restrictions available which we appreciated. I am so happy that forest grove has a place like this now and we can’t wait to bring others to experience the new...
