This is not fast food, this is extremely frustrating slow food. The drive through is the slowest that I have ever experienced at a fast food restaurant. This may be a staffing issue, so lets move on. I placed my breakfast order and after a long wait, the worker handed me a bag. Apparently it was not my order because another worker asked for the bag back, and switch it with another one. She looked though the bag and gave it to me. When I arrived home 2 hashbrowns were missing from my order. I called the store and explained that my order was wrong and I was very disappointed and upset. The lady on the phone gave what sounded like an insincere apology and said we will give you free hash browns the next time. Let's see. I got into my car and drove to McDonald's. I waited in a very slow drive through line to receive a bag that had the wrong order in it. A second worker looked through the bag and switched it with what was supposed to be my correct order and the order was still wrong (missing 2 hashbrowns). I call the store and was told they will give me free hashbrowns on my next visit. What about the hashbrowns i paid for this visit? Not to mention my breakfast was ruined. I wasted my time and gas and I got an insincere apology. My answer to this whole experience was to take the order back and get my money back. The lady could not even credit the card that I paid with and had to give me a cash refund. No face to face apology. My experience at this store did not matter to anyone but me. Read moreYou know that feeling when someone is being hostile and you can feel your blood pressure just rise up as they are talking to you? This was a stupid simple problem turned into and issue. On July 30th around 4:15PM I took my family to this McDonald's to order some Hot Fudge Sundaes with extra fudge (extra charge per sundae). When we received the order it was a regular sundae and we asked them to remake with the extra fudge like we ordered and paid for. The manager (a girl in red shirt with tattoos on her arms) came out and gave us a ton of attitude saying that they don't make them that way and I explained that we had just gotten them there the day before made exactly that way. She explained that she wasn't on staff yesterday (which explains why they made it right yesterday I suppose) and we went back and forth a few times as to the particulars of adding extra hot fudge to a sundae. My wife worked for McDonald's for six years and that's literally the way they were trained to make them. We've also gotten them that way in McDonald's all over the country but Forks township is special. The manager was rude and hostile but did offer to slap some chocolate sauce on top and call it a day. Read moreSlow service. I know the job market has alot of turn over but no excuse to receive a room temp cheese burger with a semi hard roll and cold cheese. We had 3 cars ahead of us and it took about 10 mins for them to take our order. Then another 5 mins to pay and be told they were under staffed and asked us to pull forward for our second happy meal. Then as we sat for our happy meal for another 5 to 7 mins we said they forgot to come out and give us the second meal. We went in and said you never gave us our second happy meal to which we got a deer in headlight look. My wife said the happy meal sitting at the drive through counter. They apologized but did nothing about the cold burger which is now another 10 mins colder. No offer to remake the order just sorry. To top it off they had atleast 8 staff members working which I think is about normal whether they are new hires or not. Forks twp held out for a long time to avoid having large food chain in the area and they deserve better.
