So let’s start with the staff, Linda the supervisor and Petra the store manager treats their employees terribly. To begin Petra is racist, and uses highly offensive physical gestures, and derogatory language towards her team members, specifically Bernado and Daniel. Linda knows that this goes on and has yet to do anything about it.
Not only that, but multiple employees have reported Petra’s behavior and even some have quit because of her. Hence why they’re always short staffed and customers tend wait longer than they’re supposed to. On top of that Petra the store manager does not properly train her and staff and that goes for both shift leads and crew members.I was a shift leader, I had no clue what I was doing because I wasn’t familiar with the golden chick system, and Petra the store manager refused to train me.
I explained this to Linda she acted like she would help me and I thought maybe she’ll train me but, from that day I reported her things only got worse. Simultaneously every shift my drawer was short. And she ( Petra the store manager) would tell Linda I didn’t do anything all shift ( which was a lie)I did what I could and of course it’s not gonna be enough because no one trained me.
Not too long after all of that I asked another shift lead if she experienced any of what I had gone through and she said and I quote “ yeah, Petra did the same thing to me she even told everybody I was a thief. That’s why you gotta watch her because she’ll put you in situations that but Linda knows what’s going on”.
Not too long after this testimony I quit I knew they would genuinely be no progress, and I still wouldn’t be trained properly. To be quite frank the other shift leads testimony truly discouraged me. After I wrote this review, Linda called me, threatening me and trying to accuse me of what she accused the store manager other store manager of. Can you imagine she didn’t train me, and she’s accusing me of stuff that I wasn’t trained on how would I have done it? Anyways, there’s cameras hopefully the owner checks them.
Overall, Linda knows everything that’s going on, and she refuses to change it. she says and I quote. “there’s nothing that they can do about it. My uncle owns this golden chick so they can repot me I don’t care”. Not only does this discourage the crew members but Linda genuinely gets a kick out of saying/seeing these things take place. It’s almost like Linda and Petra enjoys having the work environment...
Read moreJust want to start this by saying im in no way a karen and this is actually one of my very few google/ website reviews. I was in line ordering food like one would and placed my order with a white lady behind the register. I told her my order like normal and she handed me 2 Styrofoam cups. That's when i told her hey you think we could actually get 2 water bottles instead. she said sure but never took back the cups. When i checked my receipt she had charged me for both the cups and the water bottles. I told her of the issue and she said she would fix it. She then proceeds to go bag our order, so i assumed she would help me after she was done bagging our food. Meantime we waited for our food at a table while it was getting ready. Behind us was a african american lady giving an interview not sure if she was a genral manager or shift leader or assitant. She said her name was something along the lines of takea/zanika. Once her interview ended she proceeded to walk back to the kitchen so i assumed she wasn't busy anymore and asked her for a ice cream cone since they aren't out on display anymore. That's when she turns around and gives me the dirtiest look like i said something wrong. That's when i turn to the person i was with and we both saw the same thing. So i wait for my cone thinking she was getting the cone as one would. Then i see her walk back to the register and start doing something. that's when i ask her again can i have a cone. She then just start going off "can you not see im doing something. You see im busy trying to give you this return" Keep in mine i had no idea she was doing my return i thought the other cashier was doing that. I had no way of knowing she didn't know how to do or needed help getting that done. I explained this to takea but she was just acting like the victim the whole time. After arguing with me she then said I'm not giving you a refund and throws the receipt on the counter. she eventually gave me a refund and never apologized and just tried to act all nice at the end like nothing happened. And to make matter worst food was hard and not fresh and trash....
Read moreI called at 10:40 am to ask if they were open and they said yes. I place an order later at 11:15, and it said it would be ready for pickup at 11:36. I get there at 11:40 to pick up my order and their doors are locked. There were employees inside and the lights were on and there was food out ready to be served. Several other customers, I counted 13 people (that’s a lot of money down the drain) who came up to both doors to get food and left because the employees refused to come unlock the door. I finally called them and they didn't answer. I called four more times before they finally answered the phone. I told them I had an order to pick up but the doors were locked. The guy said that they didn't open until 11:30. I said that I called around 10:40 and was told that they were open. The guy proceeded to say that they don't open until 11:30. I said “okay well, it's 11:49, can you please unlock the door so I can pick up my order?” The guy passed me off to another girl and I told her the exact same thing. She said "hold on" and hung up. Still no one came to the door. Finally another man who also placed an order came up and waited outside the locked door with me. (Mind you it’s a 100 degree sunny day). We waited 10 minutes before they came and unlocked the door. At this time it was 12:00 and then they took another 20 minutes to fulfill my order.
If y'all are not going to be ready for customers until 12:00 then y'all need to change your hours. Until then get new management for this forney location. The food is awesome, but the customer service is awful. If this isn’t fixed, I suspect it won’t be long before the forney location goes out...
