Smoothie King — Restaurant in Forney

This Smoothie King store is one of the worst stores I have visited!!!!!!! I fly from south Florida to Forney Texas yesterday to look for a few investments houses and needed a little pick me upper drink, and Smoothie King is my go to spot. Well this went south fast. Well I order my drink with the cashier someone was talking to him through a headset,so I places my order to the point and waited to see what my family was going to order, well they wanted something different. Well a different person came from the back stock room to make my order. 1 a large size mixed gentleman or younger male didn't wash his hands or put gloves on and I was not thinking about it started making my drink, I was watching him the hold time he was not making my drink with the proper measurements,so I asked him how much was extra scoops of pineapple and he answered 1.07 I said ok please add so he stopped to tell the cashier to add it ,now he forgot what he added!! I order gladiator 20oz didn't get the mango just pineapple with other boosters that never got addedd!!! at the finishing of the order I asked for a small cup the size of mouthwash cup the little little cup for the extra that was left in the blender for my child that wanted a tast of my drink the young lady said they did not have any, and then I looked and they had one sitting on the counter full for someone else to drink and I pointed at it 🙃 and said that little little cup their she said no they didn't give out the extra. keep in mind I paid for the hold mixture and order and the declined to give me what I paid for. Not good service and on top of it I got sick from it as well and the tast was grainy and not like what I was use to and the service was not good at all stay away the fruits was not fresh and I asked if they was and the didn't...

I've had to edit my review. I gave it 5 stars half a year ago. Since then, these last few weeks it seems service has kinda' gone down hill. I've been a fairly regular customer since last summer. And I always walk home about 2 miles with my smoothie. About three smoothies ago, I got down the street and started drinking my smoothie. I was sucking large pineapple chunks through the straw. My smoothie was so thick, I had to poke around and find something soft. I always make it last until I get home so I can have it with my lunch. When I got home and drank the rest of it, there were several large chunks of ice in it. My last smoothie was really thin. And this visit today ruined it for me. Whenever I come in now, no one greets me like they used to. Nor did they greet other customers who came in after me. I ordered my smoothie and went to sit down. As I was sitting down, this guy came in who was obviously known to everyone behind the counter because they all said "Hi ". I waited longer than normal, but it was busy so no big deal. But they had their friend's smoothie ready first. They even handed it to him and said "Have a great day". And then several minutes later, I walkeld up to the counter to see if mine was being made, and there was a smoothie sitting on counter. It was placed towards the back of the counter and I didn't see it from where I was. I said "Which one is this" and an employee said "That's yours", turned around and kept working. I got outside, walked about 20 yards, took a drink from my smoothie, and it was more liquid than the last one. Not only that, it wasn't what I ordered. I didn't bother taking it back....

I have been holding off on writing a review because I wanted to give this smoothie king location the benefit of the doubt. A couple of months I pulled up around 7:40PM they took my order. I always get a acai bowl with only granola and chocolate drizzle. When I get to the window I see the girl grab from the refrigerator a bowl that was already prepared with mango and other fruits. She scoops out the fruits into a trash bag while a guy was holding the bag for them. She prepares the bowl for me and opens the window. I told her if that was freshly made and she responds that it hasn’t been in the refrigerator long. I told her I wanted it freshly made and I saw her with the bowl near the trash. Some other girl went up to the window to ask what the problem was and I told her that first off they don’t have knowledge if I had an allergy to any of the stuff that was previously in the bowl to which she responded they all come with the same fruit blended into them. After she closed the windows and they started laughing. She told me if I wanted the would just make me a new bowl so I moved and I waited another 10 min plus it was melted. They have a bunch of teens at that location that don’t care. Today my wife went back ordered a bowl same order. It was wrong the first time he handed it over to her. She told the kid that it was wrong and he said well I tried. Asked for the bowl back and when he gave her the new one it didn’t had the extras we paid for. He said sorry we are out and the first bowl had extra of everything plus it was melted. I won’t be returning to this location and I buy from smoothie king at least 5 times a week. What a waste of...
