I ordered the smoked BBQ chicken strips, and what I received looked less like a meal and more like a science experiment in sauce overload. It was as if someone panicked last-minute and just dumped the sauce on top like, “Eh, they’ll figure it out.” I couldn't tell if the sauce was cooked in, glazed on, or if someone tripped with the bottle on the way to the box.
Wingstop, what happened to you? You used to be that spot — dependable, delicious, with a little bit of swagger. Now? *I’d get a better wing experience buying a frozen bag from Walmart and praying over it.
Let’s move on to the customer service— or whatever they’re calling it these days. Walking into this Wingstop feels less like entering a restaurant and more like interrupting a group chat in real life. No greeting, no eye contact, no urgency. Just vibes. If you're hoping for basic human decency, you’re better off yelling your order into the void.
The staff acts like we’re the inconvenience. My bad, I didn’t realize spending money here was such a disruption to your after-school hangout.
And the icing on this undercooked cake? Nobody from management ever responds to the reviews. Not even a generic "We’re sorry for your experience" copy-paste effort. Which leads me to believe they genuinely don’t care. The reviews say it all — it’s not just me, it's a theme. A chorus of disappointed customers all singing the same sad, saucy song.
Well, Wingstop Forney, you had one shot to keep me as a customer. And you blew it. Rest assured, I will not be back.

Initially ordered Wingstop(WS) delivery directly from the WS app, I placed the order at 8pm, I received a text message saying it would be delivered at 8:22, the order didn’t leave the store until 8:36 with an expected delivery of 8:47. Without notice, I received an update that my order was canceled at 8:59. When I tried to contact the 3rd party(door dash) they wouldn’t help me, because I ordered directly from WS I had to contact the store directly. I called the store, the woman who picked up the phone immediately got me a manager named Ryan, when I explained everything, all he could offer me was more inconvenience. I could drive down there and pick up a new order, or I could come down and get a refund. Both of which seemed unacceptable considering I already paid for my order, delivery and a tip. There seemed to be no process to accommodate the customer in this situation. Ryan was pleasant and courteous, I know it wasn’t his fault and he can only use the tools offered to him, ultimately this is a WS deficiency. I decided I would go down to the store and pick up a new order, when I got there Ryan asked me my name and then walked to the back, I assumed my order wasn’t ready. After 10 minutes he appears again from the back of the restaurant, he asks me my name again just to find my food sitting in the shelf ready to go, it had been there the entire time. I expressed how bad this looks to Ryan and his response was “ it was only 5 minutes”, it was actually nearly 20 minutes, 9:27-9:46, which was yet again unprofessional and unacceptable considering the circumstances. By the time I got my food and returned home the fries were inedible and the chicken was cold. WS never seems to disappoint with their poor service...
