30 Brunch House — Restaurant in Forney

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. My wife had to send her food back three separate times — first because there was hair in her hash browns, then again because there was hair in her eggs, and finally because the steak came out completely wrong, clearly rushed and not prepared as ordered. To make matters worse, when the steak was returned, the waitress got smart and said, “Next time ask for medium well,” even though that was exactly what my wife had asked for in the first place. That level of rudeness on top of repeated mistakes is unacceptable.

On top of that, we had to ask four times for syrup, and by the time it finally arrived my food was already cold. Then, when I ordered a Sprite to go, I opened the cup and found black specks floating in it.

While the restaurant itself looks nice, the service was disrespectful and the food handling was appalling. Between the repeated contamination issues, lack of professionalism, and complete disregard for basic customer service, this was one of the worst dining experiences...

Today was our first time trying this brunch place. I got the chicken and waffles and I had them add Cajun seasoning because I like some seasoning on my chicken and waffles it was pretty good I must say. My husband got the ham and bacon omelette which happened to have an American cheese slice on it instead of shredded cheese it would have been better with shredded cheese so we'll mark them down a little bit for that lesson learned for us. It was a little on the loud side they could use a little bit more noise absorption but thankfully we sat up against the windows so it wasn't as bad. Definitely a place if you love to drink because there's a large bar area and tons of alcohol on the menu. The brunch potatoes were delicious. The coffee was just alright. A decent place to have brunch in the area that's not highly overpriced we will go again. Now that we know what to order and how to adjust it it may help us have a better experience I'm looking forward to trying the crepes or the...

This being our first visit, I offer the following objective assessment. We chose this new Forney location for a meal during our travels.

Service was exceptional; our server and host were both attentive and courteous. The restaurant's ambiance was pleasing, featuring a relaxing color scheme and a notably clean environment compared to other breakfast establishments.

The food quality merits a three-star rating. My husband and I both found the taste comparable to that of a fast-food chain restaurant. Both the skillet bowl and a second dish lacked significant flavor, requiring excessive salt and pepper. Presentation was acceptable, and portion sizes were appropriate for the price. I recommend exploring flavor-enhancing cooking methods if pre-seasoning is not permitted.
