We originally drove right by this location on our way through Fort Bragg this past week. This small restaurant serves home style breakfast and comfort food that is actually quite tasty! The curb appeal is less than attractive and both the interior and exterior of this establishment could use a face lift! The parking at this location is limited and hard to manage for larger sized vehicles so I recommend parking and walking if you are driving a camper or large sized truck! When you enter the building you will walk into a view of the bustling kitchen and service area with the dining area to the right. The staff was friendly and had no problem conversation with my hubby and me while we waited for our food. The food was decent and reasonably priced for the portion size. I bought the light sausage breakfast which seemed like the perfect amount of breakfast food for a road trip refuelling! The coffee was also decent and the refills were plentiful! My 3 star rating is mostly due to the rundown and unmaintained nature of th building and absolutely does not reflect the fantastic service of our waitress and hostess ( I should've asked for their names!). Overall this is a decent place to stop for breakfast on the way through town and I believe with a bit of a facelift this breakfast stop could make a real...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAVOID at all costs! INCOMPETENT does not begin to describe how awful the experience was. Spent well over an hour and a half, start to finish and don't get me started on the lack of hospitality. Would give zero stars if possible! Reply to owner: Well, to begin with, we waited, and waited, for ANYONE to even come by and ask us if we wanted something to drink. Nothing. This, while other customers were seated, asked if they wanted some coffee, etc. We waited. Finally, a new server arrived and apologized for the wait ( obviously not understanding we were there for at least 20 minutes already ) All the while watching the 2 other servers and an older tall, white man, try and manage the other tables, again, ignoring us in the process. So we finally order our food and drinks, then wait, and wait and wait. About 40 minutes later, seriously, our food arrives, minus the toast. About 10 minutes later, the toast arrives, TOAST! Again, other customers, who arrived after us, get seated, order, eat, and leave. NO EXCUSES. To top this all off, I go to pay and the one of the other servers finally decides I waited long enough and takes my money, without saying a WORD! Just horrible business practices, surprised that you are still...
