Top notch customer service! |Before the visit:|I booked a two queen bed with kitchenette room at Harbor light lodge in early June for my family. Few week before our visit we had a change plan and we needed to move out our trip two weeks back; I checked their website and our room of choice was not available on our target date so I called their front desk and they took care of it for me in 5 minutes and although price was higher on the new date, they kept my rates the same! (Not happens anywhere else in this industry) ||Checkin and during the visit:|Was greeted and checked in by Tim, a very friendly gentleman who gave me some advices on places and restaurants. Unlike many other places, room was spacious and exact same as in pictures in regard to shape and cleanliness with nice beds and white sheets. Flooring and bathrooms were in good condition and free hot coffee/tea bar in the lobby was a bonus! View of the Noyo bay from our Balcony was magnificent. Downtown, restaurants, stores and beaches were perfectly close and accessible. |Our booking was for three nights but at second day I got a horrible back spasm with severe pain and movement limitation, I tried some treatments but it only got worse as time passed and we couldn’t go to places that we had planned for. We decided to leave a day early instead of staying in the hotel. I went to the front desk and spoke with another kind gentleman, Patrick and he wished me a fast recovery and issued me a refund for our last night -do other places refund your few hours before entering your next day of stay? I don’t believe so! ||After the visit: |Two days after we got home my little kiddos couldn’t find their new toys that just bought before our trip. I called the front desk and spoke with a nice lady I cannot recall her name, she took my info and called me back after 10 minutes that they have found the toys in their lost and found. She got my consent to charge my credit card and mailed me the toys with least expensive trackable option and we received them in few days in great condition wrapped and secured with utmost care. ||We could not be more satisfied and grateful for the customer service that we received before, during and after our stay and we would definitely stay there on our next visits. |Thank you Harbor Light Lodge and all its...

Read moreThe truth is our experience was a zero stars. We never got a chance to even see our room. My son and I had booked 4 nights for our summer vacation. It was a long drive with many road construction delays. My son needed a restroom and we made several attempts to find a restroom during Covid. We were well prepared to purchase a meal in order to use their restroom along the way but all restrooms were closed even with a takeout purchase. When we arrived at 2:45 pm. We asked for a restroom in the lobby. We were told their restrooms were unavailable and our room was not ready either. At this point my son is seeing yellow and I tell him he will just have to go outside. It was then that we were verbally attacked by Jason who flew out from the back room. He owned the hotel. (Still very difficult to believe) He said my son can not go pee anywhere on his property. He claimed he has a speaker that recorded everything I said. I asked him what my son should do when he is literally about to explode. We were told there was no other option by the front desk clerk. The front desk clerk was literally trying to talk Jason down the entire time until it got to the point Jason said we couldn’t stay in his hotel. He threatened to call dispatch (I think he meant the police), to which we said ok. The desk clerk say, Jason, they are booked for 4 nights!!!! Jason say I don’t care........ so now we are left without a reservation in Fort Bragg, during the busiest time of the year on what was meant to be a happy vacation. Happily not staying with the psycho hotel owner but why in the world did all of this have to happen. I then realized if a company cares so little for their guests that have not even checked into their room yet, why would anyone trust this “hotel owner’s” integrity in any manner, especially during a pandemic.
