Bad Daddy's Burger Bar — Restaurant in Fort Collins

Tonight was our second attempt at this place - first time we did pick up and the quality was much higher than tonight’s mishap.

A. All the sides showed up cold- given the numerous challenges with keeping fried food warm - fine it happens-

B. I ordered the Magic Mushroom burger, not so magical after all. In my order I specified substituting pepperjack for Swiss- they STILL put Swiss - there was barely any mushrooms, and literally one drop of aioli. Not cool.

I contacted the restaurant to see if they could remedy it, Lisa informed me because it was an online order Doordash was responsible for it and to call them. (Yet the email I got said if there was any issues to contact the restaurant).

I called DoorDash, they called the restaurant and then told me it was on the restaurant. So I called back and guess what- Lisa offered me 3x the voucher value in lieu of the refund for this not so magical burger-

Why would I want a voucher for a restaurant that does not provide consistent quality - I just want my money back for a burger that I’m not eating and would send back if I was there in person.

Don’t plan on being a patron for this place in the future. Either the folks in the kitchen didn’t get the substitution, but it was on the receipt, or the evening manager isn’t keen on remedying the kitchen’s mistake, it’s not my “expectation” as she put it on the phone. My daughter and I ate here The food was good, and staff was friendly. My issues came later when we went back a few hours later and placed a to go order. It was only 1 burger, for my husband. It was a bit busy, they told me it would be a 3o minute wait. Seemed a bit long for a single to go burger, but we do like the food so we decided we'd wait. They took my number abs said some one would contact me when it was ready. We hung out by the fountain, the places cleared out pretty quickly. After 45 minutes and bring able to see the restaurant the entire time, we decided to check on it. Our food was sitting at the bar and no one contacted me. I asked how long it had been there and the girl said not long. After I felt the container and it was cold. I didn't open the box because I didn't want to touch the food without washing, but it was clearly cold. My husband had to heat it in the oven when we hire home and was really unhappy. I know I should have told them I needed it redone,but by this time it was 9 and I just wanted to get it to my husband. So I take responsibility for not asking them to remake it. But I should have received a call as soon as it was ready, and when I talked to the girl who took my payment she should have cared enough to offer fresh food. Oh where do I begin. Given the fact that this location is near a movie theater and a very open and spacious mall; I'd say they have the right geography. As for the food? It definitely has the taste to it! Recently I was able to try what I never thought of trying. A Burria Burger was that thing. Along with that I was able to enjoy a Philly cheese steak burger. I know what you're thinking "Neither of those things are burgers, wth are you talking about?" But hear me out... Chopped Angus burger with American cheese, peppers, jalapenos, onions and mushrooms? Stupid close to a Philly right? What about a burger with a crispy tortilla and classic Burria taco seasonings and meat WITH a burger patty served with a side of traditional Burria dipping sauce??? Now, with this not being great enough it came with sides. Truffle fries, steakhouse onion rings and fried pickles! Each one with their very own dip. The entire meal was spectacular. From service to bill. It was a lunch of the ages. I know the pricing is a little on the inflated side but it's worth it once you take that first bite. All and all it would not have been made complete without the alcoholic beverages. They have a fully loaded bar and can probably whip up just about all the classics.
