We just left with the most rude encounter we have EVER experienced in a restaurant and Joseph Jackson Jameson is fully responsible for this experience. Who knows if or when we, or our family will go back. The restaurant had a few empty tables when my wife and I entered. I got in line behind three or four other people who were ordering. My wife found a table so we would have a place to sit after I had finished ordering. Well I was at the register getting ready to please my order "Triple J" as he wanted to be called, told my wife that she needed to move because some other customers who had JUST ordered and we're still waiting for their food needed a place to sit. When she said where are we supposed to sit "Triple J" said we would have to wait at the front because they had already ordered. She said well can you help us find a place to sit and he pointed at a bar and said you can sit over there. (Umm by the way, the other customers could have sat there as well!) Would have gladly sat at a smaller table if there was one available. However the smaller tables were for four people the larger table was for six. The people who had just ordered was a group of four so could have easily sat at a small table when one became available. When my wife expressed her displeasure with him and asked to talk to the owner "Triple J" asked, you mean Jim? My wife answered yes and "Triple J" said that he didn't have his number or information. He then told her it wasn't going to matter because he was untouchable!
Seriously? You're going to tell people to move and tell us you were untouchable?
Our business may not touch much, but you can bet it won't be there!
We will also tell our friends and family about our experience.
Now you want to know if you should go to Jim's wings or not?... I guess that depends on their stance on this behavior and whether this is acceptable to Jim. UPDATE For anyone curious . The individual who treated my wife this way, IS apparently untouchable. They were "talked to" by their manager.... And... That was it. Apparently "Help is hard to find." It is apparently easier to find customers than employees. A business who is short unemployees I think people have become accustomed to waiting and being patient.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreJim's Wings is still an okay restaurant. I've been in Fort Collins for 15 years and it used to be the best wing place in all of Colorado. It used to have the biggest juiciest meatiest wings in all of Colorado. I went there this week and it has really taken a step backwards. The wings were okay but very small and not much meat. It's as though they started buying them from a different location or something. It felt like they found out that Buffalo Wild Wings is going out of business and so they started ordering their mediocre wings. Other reviewers have talked about how long it takes to get your food there. They are right. It takes forever. I was one of the first three customers and it took them 35 minutes to get me my wings. If you are there during the week they have an okay lunch special for 10 wings and fries and a drink for about ten bucks. If you are not there during the weekdays there are no Specials. Not even one. Everything is a la carte. Also it seems like somebody came in and told them to be cheap now. They only give you a couple napkins and there are no napkins dispensers on any of the tables. They also bring you ketchup and don't have any other ketchup anywhere else in the restaurant so if your bottle runs out, you can't grab any unless you talk to a waiter. That was super frustrating and to me came across as very very cheap. The restaurant seems to be a place that nickel and dimes you now. You order at the counter, pay yourself, bring your number to the table, and then you wait for your food. Even though that whole ordeal feels like something at McDonald's, they kind of expect you to tip after they bus your tables. Bottim line, If you have a hankering for wings, they are a shade better than Buffalo Wild Wings for food quality, but not for watching any sporting event. The food does cover the bases but it's nothing special. The prices are more expensive than Buffalo Wild Wings. The TVs are okay but not great. I give this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOn a Thursday morning (2/6/2025) I ordered food for myself and 6 others and went to go pick it up in person. Jimās Wings forgot to give me veggies and ranch for the entire order. I called back on my work break later that day and whoever I got on the phone acknowledged that they realized the mistake as soon as I left, and that the manager wanted to make it right by giving me a gift card for $20. I thought that was generous, but that was also the exact same amount that I had tipped on a $100 order. When I went to go redeem that credit just two days later on Saturday (2/6/2025) the cashier was unable to find the gift card in the system even though, on the phone, they had asked for my name and phone number to put it under. He then went to the back to pull a manager and another man to help find the credit, and after they sifted through a large stack of gift cards, they still couldnāt find it. At this point they asked me to tell them the situation again, and the second man who came up started to get a very nasty attitude. He first offered to āget me how many sides of ranch?ā (I was only purchasing sauces at that time, so sides of ranch made no sense to add to my order) and then he threw $5 from his wallet over the counter at me, and said ājust use thatā. In the end they comped one of the bottles of sauce that I was buying which was $8, and I left. Not only did they screw up our lunch on Thursday, but they didnāt keep their word and acted very rude with me in person 2 days later. Iād say that, if you go here, definitely triple check your order, take down the name of anyone who āhelpsā you, and expect them to act like itās your fault if they have screwed...
