Mixed review, because I love limas coffee. I usually go to the foothills mall stand or the one near Target. I worked at the mall years ago and never had an issue with any employees. However over the last few months Iāve stopped in and had issues with one of the employees hired within the past year at the Foothills Mall location. The first time I really gave him the benefit of the doubt, Iāve worked customer service, I get it. However every interaction with this employee seems to be as if itās an inconvenience for my order to be taken. When Iāve approached the counter their entire demeanor just screams āhurry up,order, and get out my faceā and like I said, Iāve worked customer service, I get it. In times past theyāve rolled eyes mid order when Iāve asked about extra syrups yāall have. The employee conducts themself with an underlining tone of disrespect with every interaction Iāve had. Truly would advise an individual from management to view the behavior from a customerās perspective without the employees knowledge. Iāve visited the foothills location with friends before who are far less outspoken and theyāve said they also felt disrespected. Today I went in said about 10 words to the employee and walked away. I didnāt have the courage to say directly to this person that the way they carry themselves just aināt it for the job theyāre doing, but Iāll write a review. 12/6 @ 2pm Foothills mall.
Sorry, usually donāt write reviews like this but If I had an employee acting like this on my payroll, Iād like to know. Coffee is great. And MOST of the employees at Lima are absolute joyful, but the employee at foothills location 2pm on the Friday of December...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI arrived around 9:30 am and the place was packed. I stood in line for about 3 min before my order was taken. I ordered the Bacon Breakfast Burrito and a small iced mocha. The bill came to $14.55. I had to wait a little over ten minutes to get my order. (Note: they only had two people working, one taking orders and heating up the food, while the other made the drinks...so maybe short staffed??) The Burrito was 75% potatoes, 15% eggs, 5% bacon, 5% black beans and cheese. It was about 7 normal bites to finish it. Overall, the burrito was not worth the $7.50 I spent on it. The 12 oz. Iced Mocha I got was more bitter than other brands. The atmosphere had contemporary styling for the main room. On the back wall there was "junglish" wallpaper with light fixtures made out of bamboo. All done very tastefully. There was calming music playing in the background at low volume. Thus, you could easily have a conversation with your partner or a group of friends without having to talk over the music like other coffee shops. There were plenty of outlets for people to plug their laptops into. I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOne of my favorite coffee shops in FC. First, the coffee is outstanding. Itās fresh and strong enough and fairly priced for the quality. Second, the store interior is well designed. The space is pleasant with abundant windows and natural light and the furnishings are modern and cool looking. There is also plenty of interior seating spaces and several comfortable chairs and couches interspersed with the conventional seats and tables. My only suggestion is to utilize the outdoor space more effectively. On a nice summer day, there were only a couple of tables set up. Easy to fix but so far no one has addressed this! Third, the service is outstanding. The staff is friendly and order turnover is quick. If their Old Town location is too hectic an experience, this is a perfect solution for you. Ownership should be commended for what they have accomplished in such...
