i work in the area and frequent this Qdoba location specifically. I have been going there at the very least 1 a week for the last year and a half and i have NEVER had an experience like i did today. I went on my lunch break and arrived at approx. 1:35pm. watched the woman in line ahead of me get her service and food no problem by a tall man. there was a woman with short chin/shoulder length brown hair who came to the counter from the back maybe. She started making and bagging the online orders that were on the counter. she looked up at me one time and gave me a little side eye look and i smiled at her. i watched the manager (bald man with a light purple qdoba shirt) walk outside and back behind the counter. the original man was at the grill and the girl was still bagging the order. none of them said anything. not a hello or one second please. so when the bald man walked back up towards the counter i said “are you guys taking orders right now” and he ignored me and the woman looked at me and put her hands in the air with a shrug and said “he’s not doing anything” so i asked her “are you guys taking orders right now?” and she said “you see me working don’t you” and i said “ya i’ve been standing here for (looks at phone and it’s not 1:49pm) 15 minutes watching all three of you and nobody has said anything” she said “well if you dont feel like standing there you can leave” and i asked “well do you feel like taking orders today” and she said “not yours, you can leave”. I then left and tried to call and speak to the manager and she answered and i said “may i please speak to a manager” she said “i am a manager” i said “what was your name” and she replied “if you’re the gal that was jusy in here im not giving you my name and nobody here is going to give you their names out of spite” and i asked for the corporate number, was told to google it and then was hung up on.
i actually am the store manager of the location that i work and the lack of professionalism and decency was absolutely unacceptable and unnecessary. i guess ill stick to the weekday staff because the weekend staff was absolutely ridiculous....
Read moreThe other day after staying far away from this place a year, I decided I'll try it again instead of drive across town to the mulberry one. I was pleasantly surprised the young lady with piercings revamped my love for the place. I even told her! Only one person that night didn't even turn around when I entered.
Well that same girl who didn't turn around was who helped the next day! I often am at Qdoba 🌯 twice a day for a full family. They charge my oldest son for like sides or something because he will ONLY eat rice, beans, and chicken.
Well this time they charged a full cost for his, so I paid THEN said that is not what the mulberry nor the council tree one have ever charged.
She was clearly unhappy I asked, saying last night we have you some off. She also clearly became flustered when she tried stuffing three meals and chips in one bag and I asked for two bags.
Not a smile, thank you nothing. I don't spend money with rude people. This store and the one off timberline and Drake are known for treating customers rude. Complaints are futile, because nothing changes. Spend your money elsewhere! Council tree store or Mulberry but skip this one. Run...
Read moreI really like this place, and my favorite breakfast is a "large, naked (no tortilla), egg, potato, chicken and chorizo burrito with regular queso, corn and lots of lettuce. I stopped going to Qdoba because I learned that various studies have shown that the char on meat has caused cancer in animals, and various cultures have believed this to be true for a long time. I dislike the taste of burned meat, so I quit going. I recently heard that they finally added chorizo to the list of proteins in the app, and that some trim off the char, so I visited this location again at lunchtime. It did appear that they trimmed off the char, and the food tasted better. This morning, however, it was a different story. There was still quite a bit of char on the chicken. Also, and this is why I have to give them 1 star, the young man that was taking my order did not listen, and upon 3 occasions, he scraped food that he dropped on the dirty counter (could see lots of smear marks and other particles) back into its container. That's enough to make some people very sick, so I have to request that they retrain their personnel on food safety. I'll not return...
