If you're looking for a ciderey in NoCo, then this place is a must go.

Their in-house ciderey is absolutely fantastic. With a wonderful selection of ciders that are year-round, they always have something you'll enjoy. And if you want to try something new, look no further. Their rotations are always on point. *Although my sadness at seeing the Elder Lemon cider go is monumental. *

Regarding their food, the burgers and sandwiches are excellent, but not for the small of stomach, as they don't really have a "small" serving size. Their appetizers are fantastic, and if you love cheese like me, then you must partake of the brie. Only criticism of the brie is that they need more bread and more jelly/jam selections.

Table service is something to talk about, as my preference is for staff to come to your table when there is also a bar sitting option, but with the setup they have, I do understand why they don't, as the bar is easily accessible. Also a plus, in the multiple outings I've had there, I've never had to wait more than a minute or two for service, so props to them for that.

All in all, Scrumpy's is a FoCo focus for cider, easily being my favorite place in Old Town to sit back and throw some cider down the hatch while enjoying the wonderful atmosphere, without the crazy hustle and bustle of your typical FoCo experience.

Try the Rasbenero cider if you like some spice in your life. It's...

Once a great cider bar, but all the friendly staff has left. Although there are a couple new friendly workers, they are now run by a general manager who apparently dislikes people. Even the employees dislike her. I had the displeasure of talking to her and she was sure to make me feel guilty for even making a request of her, and then followed it up by saying she sets the rules and she “cant” change them. Lazy, disrespectful, and a bummer, because they’ve got some decent cider.

Go elsewhere for now.

Edit: now the owner comes at me saying I made a threat? Your GM lied to you. I asked if The owner was there to see if she could make an exception as the bar was almost completely empty, and I was there with an ex employee. After the GM came back giving the excuse of if I got a flight, everyone would want a flight (all 3 groups?) and they would have too many dishes. So I responded by offering a $20 additional tip to the crew for dealing with my dishes. The GM got angry that I would even offer such a thing.

Can’t say I’m shocked that your GM would lie, she seems terrible at her job. No wonder it’s always so...

Solid pub fare, but the standout was the service and the ciders. Liam, the GM, was fantastic. He was on his own at the bar, but didn't fail to greet us with a smile when we came in, and was quick to help us whenever we approached the bar.

Scrumpy's is the home of Summit Ciders, and theirs are fantastic. There really is something for every palate. Liam convinced us (it didn't take much) to try a flight of all 16 ciders for $28, which is a great value as a separate flight of 8 is $17. Each taster is good for several sips, and since we were heading back home to SD, we didn't need any other drink with our meal.

We took several ciders home with us, and if they didn't have any 4-packs left they were able to provide a choice of growlers or growlettes.

Liam was again amazing, juggling our cider order while helping other customers, and still helped us bring some of our ciders to our car. He even threw in a couple of cute stickers with their hedgehog logo, and some BOGO cocktail cards. We'll definitely have to try their cider based cocktails when we...

Pretty certain most downtown city stores are going to ha e this rough of a time hiring anyone who remotely cares about actually working. Upon entry, there is no sign or any notification to seat ourselves. The bartender had about 4 people to attend to, and there was no attempt to say, "please sit anywhere," it literally took a regular to tell us that. So once seated, we weren't greeted with any menus or water or any direction how this place operates. The only worker we see is the bartender and she busied herself more with conversation and assisting the bar, than to at least give us a starting point. Turns out, you walk up to order your meal, or your water, or even place an inquiry about menus. Which each time, the said bartender was quite dissatisfied with our assurance. Once all of that interaction was done. We finally got our meals. Now, I can see why people come here, it's genuinely good food. Not to mention their ciders are pretty on point. It just sucks that the service was just so aweful.

First time visit. Overall we enjoyed the 2 cider flights we tried. We got 16 out of the 20 or 21 different ciders. Lots of variety. The food? Some of it, not so much. We ordered a hatch burger, candied bacon, and the meatball grinder. The bacon was delicious. Very much worth giving it a try. The grinder was PHENOMENAL. The bread was fresh, Toasted crispy, the meatballs flavorful and tender, the marinara sauce complimented it all perfectly and it was HOT!. The burger? Disappointing. Predominantly because it, along with the accompanying tots were COLD 🥶 LIKE COLD cold! I didn't eat but a bite of it. No use in asking for it to be warmer as we all know what kitchens tend to do when food is sent back. Hopefully, my home airfryer can bring it to life, and I can enjoy a hot hatch burger and crispy tots. I'm not upset about giving it a shot. The cider selections are TOTALLY worth giving them a shot.

Awesome hard cider bar! My favorite was the tart cherry, according to the bartender it was their very first side or they made, I want to say they had somewhere between 15 and 20 on tap. Everyone else with this ordered Bloody Marys and said they were fantastic. Small booths line the south side of the space and old church pews line the north side of the space with the bar in the middle an elevated sitting area with a fireplace is in the northwest corner there's some seating in a patio area in front. A unique idea they have are numerous board games. The only thing that I found a little odd and it may have been because we were there in the early afternoon, all ordering and paying had to be done at the bar there are no barmaids, waitresses or Waiters.
