Big Louie's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale

This place is CONSITENTLY excellent! There has NEVER been a time that they disappointed, and we've been coming here regularly since 3/2021. . Tonight, I was moved to add a great review because I believe they went above and beyond. Ordered a dinner special (Fiocci Carbonara) and a large pie with double pepperoni, and while it comes out OK at Big Louie's other location up US-1, this place REALLY gave us our money's worth, and I appreciate 'little' things like that. . Pizza was LOADED with pepperoni, generous even for 'doppio.' It was cooked as I asked. Garlic rolls came with my dinner and were excellent, loaded with garlic, which I like. Dinner salad was fresh and bleu cheese dressing very good. Fiocci Carbonara: DELICIOUS, smoky sauce with bacon or pancetts that you can taste, with a few peas and onions. The pasta is stuffed with PEAR, which is a great SWEET contrast to the sauce. Reaaaaaly good combination! Haven't tasted the side of sausage yet, but I know their marinara is excellent and I'm sure the sausage will please as well. . On the aside, turning lemons into lemonade, we arrived at Big Louie's in Pompano at 9:20 (they close at 10) and were kinda brusquely turned away. Called this place from the car and they were glad to make our food, which turned out well because the Pompano specials are delicious but not as interesting as the ones at the E. Sunrise location. They never mind us coming in toward the end of the night.

It's heart breaking, it's been a tradition eating here, 40 years since the 80's, last two times its been horrible, got the children parmesan and it was over salted I didn't say anything just let it go I went out tonight was craving their lasagna seven layers baked lasagna the first thing I noticed it came out in a bowl normally it comes out in the silver metal boat with the sights of being baked you can tell by the texture of the cheese being under the oven the way it turns brown bubbles when you go into the lasagna the pasta is cooked baked when this dish came out it was in a bowl the cheese was not baked it was never in the oven it was definitely microwave the lasagna was not seven layers they're only two layers of pasta I want to use the fort to move the pasta was so flimsy and full of water the bowl was not hot this was definitely not baked lasagna I returned it he wanted to have it be remade I was disgusted I said no 40 years the lasagna always came out in a silver boat adjusted my bill I tipped him fairly he was great it wasn't his fault it's whatever is going on in the kitchen the table next to me had your typical Fort Lauderdale elderly couples who definitely eat there often and they too were complaining about their food they said it's not the same we all agreed it's...

Horrible service. I ordered pizza at 6:06. Called at 7:29 because they said 45 minutes. Complained and the girl told me order was picked up and she would contact driver and call me back. She said i gave her wrong address which I know I didn’t. I repeated address more than once. Was told they would call me back. Still No call by 7:50 so I called back. Was put on hold and no one ever took my call so i hung up and called back again. She said they would make another one and deliver in 20 minutes. I asked her what was free for her mistake and she said nothing as it was my fault!!!! So 2 1/2 hours later I still sit here waiting for my pizza! They reordered and i have been waiting another hour. Called again and she said we can’t deliver. I tried to call the front desk but there was no answer. Great job Keiandra. Great customer service!!
