I’ve been to Bolay maybe once or twice and I love the concept. It’s a healthier version of Chipotle where you can build your own bowl. It’s brilliant. They have signature bowls you can choose from too if you don’t want to create your own. What I love about it is the flexibility to add exactly what you want.

I opted to build my own bowl. Below is everything I added to my bowl:

1. PICK YOUR BASE • Chopped Kale Salad • Asian Sweet Potato Noodles

2. PICK YOUR VEGGIES • Garlic Broccoli • Street Corn

3. PICK YOUR PROTEIN • Teriyaki Chicken

4. ADD YOUR TOPPINGS • Chimichurri Tomatoes • Pickled Red Onions

5. STAY SAUCEY • Cilantro Lime Vinaigrette

My bowl was delicious and honestly I didn’t even need my sauce as it had great flavor. I was able to do half and half on the base and the chopped kale and sweet potato noodles was my favorite. Loved all the additions and everything was tasty.

Got the peanut butter cookie which was yummy. For my beverage, I tried the Mandarin Cardamon tea. Looooooved the tea. It had a hint of turmeric too. Just right, no sugar needed.

Bolay Delivers: Quick, Fresh, and Flavorful!

Recently, I treated myself to a meal from Bolay, and it was an experience worth sharing! First off, the delivery time was impressive. My order arrived exceptionally fast, ensuring that I didn’t have to wait long to indulge in a delightful feast. Each component of the meal was carefully and neatly packed.

For my bowl, I selected a mix of pesto noodles, sweet potato noodles, and Jasmine rice – a trio of carbs that promised a diverse range of textures and flavors. To this, I added the creamy garlic sauce which, I must say, was the right call! It complemented the lemon chicken protein I chose. And speaking of protein, the lemon chicken was zesty and tender. The finishing touch of tomatoes with chimichurri brought a hint of tang and freshness that balanced the entire bowl.

If there was one area for improvement, it would be the protein quantity. A bit more of that delicious lemon chicken would have been just perfect.
