I recently visited this Chipotle location and was quite disappointed with my experience. Despite there being only two customers at the front, which suggested a relatively empty restaurant, every table was messy and unclean. The lack of cleanliness was immediately noticeable and concerning.
My biggest issue, however, was with the food handling practices. I ordered a chicken burrito and specifically asked for a small amount of lettuce. Instead, I was given a large mound of it. When I requested that some be removed and discarded, the staff member took the excess lettuce off my burrito and put it back into the main container of lettuce. This is particularly troubling for several reasons.
Firstly, it raises serious cross-contamination concerns. For vegetarians and vegans, the lettuce that had touched chicken was returned to the communal supply, potentially introducing meat residues into what should be a vegetarian ingredient. This could inadvertently compromise the dietary restrictions of other customers who rely on Chipotle for vegetarian or vegan options.
Secondly, this practice is unsanitary and does not align with proper food handling protocols. Ingredients that have come into contact with other foods or customers’ orders should not be returned to communal containers.

Read moreI am a Chipotle loyalist but my goodness this location is consistently a mess. I am compelled to write this review because for the first time (09/19/24) I walked in, saw what the food counter looked like and walked right back out. I have pretty low standards so this was a first for me.

Read moreWell where can I start… First of all walked in at 8:56 pm, that’s where I started in line where I was one of 3 people. After I saw the clock round around 9:15pm I started to wonder how this could possibly take so long being that there is 5 people working behind the counter and only one person taking customer orders. This young man not only was starting from heating your tortilla, he also went all the way to ringing you up! To you young sir I give you 5 stars, you’re doing your best. For the other employees I rate you zero. (Keep in mind at this time there was a line of 8 behind me about to go through the grueling process I went through). Now comes the order, I think to myself well I committed this long may as well finish it out. Come to find out they are missing half the half of their ingredients as they are “out” of cheese, rice, black beans, and chicken. The one girl laughed behind the counter as she heard my request. All the while the manager is staring at a clipboard behind the counter paying no attention to the worthlessness of her management being stowed upon people that are simply trying to eat on their way home from work as well. Long story short, this location needs a management change, I come often and 9/10 times they are out of straws, napkins, forks, sour cream, cheese, etc. I hope the owner reads this and the employees know this can be fixed.
