While waiting for a friend to arrive at this Starbucks location, I was asked by a young lady if I would be ordering. A friend's name was in the mobile online order, and I was deciding on what to eat. However, there was an issue with my credit card while trying to add it to the Starbucks website, so I stepped outside for some fresh air and to smoke a cigarette.
While standing near a table, I noticed a walking cane had been left on the floor and picked it up, still holding my unlit cigarette and lighter. A young lady approached me at the door and said, "You can't smoke over there." I had no intention of smoking there, as I've always been considerate enough to walk away to the sidewalk at other Starbucks locations.
I explained that I was just trying to return the cane, assuming someone had left it behind. She replied, "You can put it back; they're probably inside. You can't smoke here; you have to go by the sidewalk near the tree." I had planned on doing just that. I thought I was being kind by trying to return the cane, but instead, I felt treated like a second-class citizen who didn't belong.
With that said, this Starbucks location has lost my business. As a matter of fact, there's a Dunkin' Donuts next door, and since I've just moved to this neighborhood, I think I'll take my business there from now on."
I'd also like to add that I recently was released from the hospital after a traumatic fall and I spent 4 weeks and 4 days in the hospital and there was a Starbucks downstairs and when I had the chance to walk and exercise I chose to go downstairs and enjoy Starbucks the staff there was tremendous when it came to their customer service maybe they should take a queue from them and learn how to...
Read moreI am a local resident & worker past ten years transplant from NYC Been frequenting this Starbucks for decades tho...tonight I decided to walk out on a special coffee I always orderand really needed because the Barista decided to treat me badly with attitude and talking down to me in such a nasty condescending way that I didn't deserve. I generally tip and am very particular about my coffee. I had to do my moonlit shift without my usual evenings coffee and it left such a bad taste in my mouth. I'm so tired of the way people treat each other in this community... people that they see and serve everyday. Everytime I pass by there now I get a sinking feeling . I'm going to be too embarrassed to go back into that place because I don't need bad vibes. I didn't deserve that at all. All I did was ask again if they had a certain kind of loaf that I usually order because my stomach was upset so I would have like to have that or some hot water to make oats . There's definitely a problem with this manager's attitude. I just left and gave up.on getting coffee there at the time of payment. I couldn't take it anymore how insensitive & negative people in this area are to each other . Don't feel even like buying any Starbucks again anywhere after that and might as well just make own coffee then . Would save me $50 a week .I always tip what I can...and am cheerful as en pointe as possible at the drive thru... I just don't get it. SMH...
Read moreVisited this location around 4/5 PM today and received very rude service from a young, skinny, shorter male with brown hair. I hope he was just having an off day and this isn’t how he treats all customers. When one of the baristas handed him my drinks I could hear her say “very messy” and he didnt try to clean them off at all before handing them to me. Literally Frappuccino visibly spilling all around the outside of both cups and he just hands them off to me. I don’t want to bring them in my car like that so I ask him for napkins hoping he’d see how messy they are and offer to help wipe them up for me but he doesn’t and just hands me the napkins while I’m still holding both drinks out of the window. Then stands in the window and watches me clean them off in my car lol. Hopefully this reaches the right person so other customers may benefit from...
