Must-visit for thai food lovers! We were looking for a thai restaurant in the area and discovered Kan's. From outside it may be difficult to spot but you really wouldn't want to miss it! We were greeted by very friendly staff including the owner of the restaurant. It's a small family business that took over the restaurant and are trying to bring it back to the front page of good thai restaurants in FLL. The owner is in the service and her mother in the kitchen (both from Thailand). They have a decent selection of traditional thai dishes as well as street-foods, so you will find dishes that may not be on the menu of other restaurants. From salads, to noodle-soups, thai curries, stir-fries dishes, there's something for everyone. We ordered: • Thai Dumpling • Thai Green Curry • Khao Soi Beef • Thai Milk Tea I won't go into detail of each single dish, but what I can tell you is that they were all outstanding. Rich in flavour, fresh, spicey, sour and not too fishy (as some westerners may not like it). All the flavours were there, just like I have tasted them on my time in Thailand. The owner told us, that they adapted the flavours slightly in order to cater for western tastes but I can assure you that everything tasted very good and was well balanced. For sure the most authentic thai cuisine I've had the pleasure to taste in Florida until now! The thai milk tea was refreshing and tasty, but very large, so you better order it "to go" so you don't waste it if you're full. The staff were all very friendly and helpful with the dish selection and took time to explain what the dishes were. Even the owner's mother came to look after us and ask if the food was good. Truly lovely people working here who deserve to be rewarded for their hard work. Overall, truly a must-visit if you are in the area and looking for authentic thai cuisine!

What a Gem! We popped into *Kan’s Thai Kitchen* after work on Saturday on a friend’s glowing recommendation—and wow, they weren’t kidding! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel right at home. Super friendly, genuinely helpful, and more than happy to walk us through the menu (which, let’s be honest, we wanted to order in its entirety). After some thoughtful suggestions from our server, we kicked things off with the Larb chicken , beef jerky, and papaya salad. Let me just say—flavor city. Perfectly shareable portions, and each bite was a party for the taste buds. For mains, I went with the *Khao Soi*—a personal favorite and a total knockout here. One friend ordered the *Red curry*, the other went classic with the *Pad Thai*. Every dish was bursting with bold, rich flavors that had us passing plates around so no one missed out. We also tried one of their signature iced teas and a bottle of unfiltered sake—because why not go all in? At this point, we were full... but not full enough to skip dessert. Naturally, we ordered the **mango sticky rice**, because ending on a sweet note is just good manners. The decor is nice, elegant but cozy—and while the music was a bit on the mellow side for my taste, it quickly faded into the happy buzz of a busy room as the place filled up. All in all? 10/10 would recommend. Amazing food, warm vibes, and service that makes you want to come back before you’ve even left. Go check them out—you won’t be disappointed!

This is a small, charming, authentic Thai, family run, woman owned restaurant. We were treated with wonderful hospitality in a calm, clean environment. We met the owner, mom (came out of the kitchen), dad (working the table service) and sister (waitressing). They couldn't have been nicer and the food was delicious. It's one of our new favorites (I have quite a few favs because I have "LauderdaleFoodie" on Insta, "Who's in the Kitchen" on YouTube, the Beachside Buzz and more)! I suggest going soon, because this place is likely to get crowded when more people find out about it. They're currently open 6 days a week (not Mondays), for lunch and dinner. They also serve beer and wine. You can get more information about the restaurant and find backlinks to their website and social media in the www.Beachside.Directory. Dine well ... support local ... have fun!

While visiting Fort Lauderdale, we had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic restaurant—and what an experience it was! From the moment we walked in, we were struck by how clean and inviting the space was. The décor is modern yet warm, creating a comfortable atmosphere that immediately sets the tone for a great meal.

But let’s talk about the true stars of the show: the customer service and the food. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome throughout our visit. It’s clear they take pride in creating a memorable experience for every guest.

And the food? Absolutely phenomenal. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. You can tell the kitchen puts thought and care into everything they serve.

If you’re in Fort Lauderdale and looking for a place that delivers both exceptional service and delicious food in a stylish setting, don’t miss this spot. We’ll definitely be back the next time...
