I've always enjoyed Country Ham N' Eggs in Lauderale-by-the-Sea, so though I was delighted when the same proprietors decided to open this new, completely redecorated Country Ham N' Eggs Bar & Grill on Oakland Boulevard with a full bar service, meaning I can get a real Sunday morning Bloody Mary to go with my Eggs Benedict, I was thrilled. But at the same time disappointed to hear that they intend to close their Lauderdale-by-the-Sea location. Putting that matter aside, the new Country Ham N' Eggs Bar & Grill is really large with plenty of comfortable booth seating, spotlessly clean, pleasantly decorated with a full service bar. The food offerings and the lively, spirited over the top friendly diner type of service remains pretty much the same as was the case in their other location. For diner food, friendly somewhat whimsical high spirited service, one can hardly do better. Everything I've had has been just as good if not better than at any other such place in town with the prices more than reasonable and the portion sizes larger than most. Though I generally only go here for breakfast, I can attest to the fact that they do serve up a darn good lunch as well. Hopefully they may soon also be serving up dinners as well. Though I usually get their Eggs Benedict, on my most recent visit I merely went for a sandwich tuna melt lunch with coleslaw. When ordering, I had my choices between four breads and four cheeses. The service was quick and my order arrived in as nice a presentation as any tuna melt sandwich could be presented. It was stuffed full of a tuna salad, perfectly seasoned, tasty, a good melt of cheese and a pleasant toast flavor to the bread; for a little sandwich, about as good as it gets. So, I'm a real fan of Country Ham N' Eggs Bar & Grill, and only hope they do well as the location they've selected has proved to be unpopular, the graveyard of a good number of other varying restaurant and bar operations.

Wow, we have not been to this place since they left the square . We were greeted when we walked in and were seated in a nice booth. Our server came over asked if there was anything we’d like to drink. They have a full bar so they have a mimosas beer or wine whateveryou like. I had what they call the bagel sandwich. I had a choice of cheese. I went with Swiss and the meat was ham. It was the best ham and egg & cheese sandwich I’ve had in a very long time. The bagel was sesame was soft. it wasn’t doughy . The grits ok. G had the server offered an egg on top which she has never had and he said it was a nice like that. Our server, Angel could not have been any nicer. He was very pleasant. Helped me pick out that sandwich that was delicious and did check on us. Don’t forget to check in on Yelp get your 10% off

We had a great experience at this place! We arrived for breakfast on a Saturday, and thankfully, were seated right away. Our friendly server approached the table to take our drink orders, and let us peruse the menu. When she came back with our coffees, I ordered the Burrito Wrap (scrambled eggs, onions, peppers, tomato, choice of meat, and choice of cheese) with bacon and American cheese as my choices. For my side, I ordered grits. Hubby ordered the 2-2-2 which is two pancakes, two eggs, and choice of meat, and added a side of grits (not included in the meal). The food came out pretty quickly, and was delicious! Overall, this is a great place. The staff are super friendly, the dining room is clean, the menu is ample without being overwhelming, and the food is good! I will definitely visit again!

The food was average and the service was alright. My review is on the prices of this place. I ordered an omelete with bacon, ham and cheese. The menu says it's $17. $5 more for an extra meat. I think that is absolutely ridiculous. But, I ordered it anyway and I even told the waitress I was not happy about that price. The omelet came out looking like any other omelet, not $5 worth of meat in it. Oh well, now I know not to go back. Then, on top of that the bill came and it said $25 something. I explained to the waitress that cannot be correct as the meat is $5 and the omelette is $17. It took her a minute to catch on and went back to correct it and then brought out a new bill that was a little bit less as they also charge for cheese she said. She did not tell me that in the beginning - only for the extra meat which I already saw on the menu. At that point I was like OMG, this place nickel and dime. This is just crazy to charge $25 for an omelet. I won't be back. There is a diner across the street that has good food that I usually go to but my friend talked of this one and I had never heard of it and never had been and thought to try it out. I have lived in the Fort Lauderdale area for about 15 years and I guess this is why I have never heard of this place. The prices are just through the roof. I almost walked out the door when I sat down and saw the $5 for extra meat but I had my friend that wanted to eat. I feel like you're trying to take advantage of people because of the...

I really enjoyed coming here waiters and waitresses are awesome unfortunately they have fallen off honestly not sure if they changed there cooks but today the meal wasn’t up to par the food doesn’t taste the same as before. One meal was over cooked but we dealt with it. Wasn’t happy with both plates I received they took off one meal we order another omelette which was also not very good but per Manger Rob he couldn’t take off another meal because this is the second one we ordered being that we ate some of the other one and piece of the new meal that we had to pay for the omelette. The Manager wasn’t helpful at all wasn’t considerate at all instead he said we should have chosen another meal instead of an omelette smh. He Didn’t take into consideration of what we were saying about the omelette seemed like he had his mind made up before he spoke with us. Plus he is the one that told me to post this review when I asked his name kinda rude kinda put a bad taste in my mouth like the food so I won’t be back...
