On my way home from work on December 3rd, I was craving the grilled wings from Sicilian Oven and the Fort Lauderdale location is closer to my place. I called them and ask if they would allow me to order only the drums-sticks of the wings just like the Boca Raton location would allow it for me. The girl who picked up was busy chatting and laughing to her co-wokers next to her and were not paying attention. I had to repeat my request and after she understood, she bluntly said no they could not do that. I had to beg her a few times for her to build the motivation to go ask the chef, but I had no success in her. I was disappointed and hang up the phone. Regretting that I was not going to have my favorite grilled wings that night, I thought and called the restaurant again and offered to pay extra if they would prepare only the drums-sticks only, her response was consistently no. I asked to speak with the manager, I believe her name was Stephanie. I asked her why they would not accommodate my request when I offered to pay extra for it. She had no idea what drums-sticks only of the wings were. I had to explain to her in a childish way that when you order wings anywhere, you get two kinds of wings pieces. The flat ones are called "flats" and the non-flat ones are called "drum-sticks". She put me on hold and came back to tell me that of course they could do that and there would not be an extra charge for that. I was relieved but still angry that the person who answered the phone gave me the wring information and did not even ask the chef. I ordered two orders of the grilled wings with drum-sticks only. She said it would take 20-30 mins. I got there 40 mins later and went to the pick up counter but they could not find my order at the pick up window nor in the computer. I asked to speak with the manager and asked what was going on. She went to the kitchen and told me that the kitchen was behind and the wings would be ready in another 10 minutes. I sat at the bar and ordered a martini. 10 mins went by, no wings. 20 mins went by, no wings. 40 mins went by, no wings, I called her again, and 5 mins later I got my wings. I tipped for the take-out person and paid for my martini and tipped the bartender. It took them 85 minutes to prepare my wings and she did not even offer to comp by drink since it was an inconvenience for that long wait. I got home, showered and sat down to eat my wings..... Surprise.,,..,.. My wings had both flats and drum-sticks. I was apauled and called the restaurant again and asked to speak with Stephanie since she was the one that took my order. She rudely put me on speaker phone for the rest of the staff to hear my anger while I could hear them laugh while she kept asking me to repeat myself because it was too loud where she was. This triggered my blood pressure to rise. She finally told me that she would comp the order can cancel my credit card payment. 3 weeks went by, still no reversal of my credit card payment was made. After a month, I called and ask to speak with the GM. The manager on duty, a gentleman who I do not remember the name unfortunately told me the GM was not there and he took my complaint to forward to him to have him call me. A week went by, no call from Sicilian Oven. I called and spoke to the same manager and he told me that the GM was not there. He was sorry and promised to relay my complaint to the GM and he would reach out to me. 5 months are gone now. Neither my payment was reversed, nor did I hear from anyone from that restaurant. I called the Boca location and he manager who knew me very well, had no words for my experience and was very apologetic. He suggested that I contact corporate through this website. I have never had to file a complaint to the corporate in my whole life but this one got way too far. Not only I did not eat those wings, not only my credit card charges was not reversed till today, but I wasted 85 minutes of aggravation after my work hours to enjoy a simple dish that I...

If you’re lucky enough to dine at Sicilian Oven in Fort Lauderdale on Oakland Park, there’s a good chance you’ll be greeted by one of the restaurant industry’s finest — Tyler, the General Manager. From the moment you walk through the door, Tyler makes you feel like family. His warm kindness, welcoming smile, and genuine interest in each guest set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience.

Tyler has an extraordinary ability to remember not just names, but faces, favorite dishes, and small personal details that make every visit feel personalized. His attention to detail is unmatched — from the way he checks in with every table to ensure everything is perfect, to how seamlessly he manages the team and the dining room, even on the busiest nights.

What truly sets Tyler apart is his leadership. He leads by example, creating an environment of excellence, warmth, and professionalism. His team clearly respects and admires him, and it shows in the impeccable service and atmosphere. Tyler isn’t just a manager; he’s the heartbeat of the restaurant, making every visit to Sicilian Oven not just a meal, but a true experience.

All of the servers are absolutely wonderful and the true stand out of the restaurant is Kristie. Kristie is an exceptional server at Sicilian Oven, combining professionalism with a warm, welcoming personality that instantly makes guests feel at home. Her attentiveness, efficiency, and deep knowledge of the menu ensure that every dining experience is seamless and enjoyable. Kristie consistently goes above and beyond, anticipating needs before they’re even expressed and delivering service with a genuine smile.

The food at Sicilian Oven is nothing short of outstanding, offering an authentic Italian dining experience that blends traditional flavors with exceptional quality. Every dish, from the perfectly wood-fired pizzas to the rich, homemade pastas and savory appetizers, reflects a deep respect for Italian culinary heritage. The ingredients are always fresh, the flavors bold yet balanced, and the presentation consistently impressive.

In a world where hospitality can sometimes feel rushed or impersonal, Tyler, Sean, and the entire staff bring back the magic of being seen, appreciated, and valued as a customer. Sicilian Oven is lucky to have them — and so are we. THANK...

My wife called a week in advance to make a reservation for 6 of us on January 1st at 6:45 pm (Fort Lauderdale location) for my sons birthday. We requested a section of the large wood table next to the bar and was assured that it would be no problem. On December 31st we received a text confirming our reservation. On January 1st we received a second text confirming our reservation. My wife also called the restaurant just to confirm our specific location. She was assured that everything was 100%. We should up at 6:45 and was told that the table (area) that we asked for was not available that the owner wanted his party sitting there and that nothing was available and we needed to wait. I asked to speak with the manager. Your manager was very rude and dismissive. He scolded me saying that "we don't take reservations, only call ahead and you will have to wait" I was blown away. We eat there at least twice a month and was shocked as usually the service and staff are outstanding. I suggest you and your manager get on the same page as we were NEVER told that it was call ahead only. Our reservation was taken confirmed and re-confirmed twice via text. Very disappointing! *UPDATE TO REVIEW: Ten minutes after posting this review a representative contacted my wife regarding our experience. She explain to her that there was an error in the software that sends out the confirmations and that they do not in fact take reservation but do offer "call ahead" seating. She apologized and said that the error would be corrected immediately. Other than this incident this restaurant has been a solid "10". Their food is some of the best Italian food I have ever eaten. I would...

Fantastic experience! Let me start with the drink. Margarita on the rocks. Absolutely well done! Strong, good tequila and little ice, not to water it down. Wonderful !! Then the service, Lauren was graceful and sincere in her sweet care for us. We let her know it was our first time at the restaurant incidentally. She welcomed us. All this happened while we are surrounded by a nice beautiful atmosphere full of beautiful decor and light music that kept a great vive. The pizza. Simply the best Pizza I have had here...in South Florida, for me better than Anthony's Coal Fire pizza. We ordered a large Mona Lisa...I always thought I didn't like prosciutto until I tried this pizza. Crunchy, thing crust, perfect flavor, OMG !! DELICIOUS! Lauren offered us dessert and recommended Tiramisu, we accepted the suggestion. It was light, perfectly sweet, not too much coffee, simply great! We enjoyed it very much! The the check came....Lauren said they took care of the dessert for us, for being first timers...I couldn't believe my ears...first time ever...any restaurant offers me a complimentary dessert for visiting the first time! My husband had Expresso and it was nice and strong, really delicious. They are FABULOUS! Totally worth every penny!

I found this place to be a great place for dinner. The food was excellent. The service was good and the atmosphere was friendly and fun. I came for dinner with my family and we all enjoyed our time. The restaurant is in a plaza that is easy to spot. It has plenty of street parking. It is meter parking that takes cash or credit. This plaza also has cute stores around. The food was good. I loved the meatballs and they were big. I recommend them. One of the best. I have tasted it. The pizza is pretty good. The aroma was so good. It had good flavors. I ordered pasta. I was able to get the sauce to be changed to vodka sauce. It was good. I liked vodka sauce and here they make it delicious. I ordered a chicken cutlet dish. It was breaded chicken with cheese. My family tried it and loved it. I had a hard time keeping them from taking it from me. The place was nice. I liked the music selection. It is a busy place. One dies to feel comfortable here. The staff makes you feel welcome. I liked this restaurant

It was falling in love at the first dine-in at Sicilian Oven in Oakland Park. I have been back multiple times to this location as I am around nearby often. They have 9 locations in South Florida. We always enjoy their food like Sicilian salad, wood fired pizzas, pollo mateau, eggplant Parmesan, pollo Parmesan and mussels dishes. Everything is made for your palate satisfaction and made to the delicious standard. I agreed that the Sicilian Oven is not just a typical Italian Restaurant. In a typical restaurant you are loaded with pasta/carb. Some of the dishes did not come with any carb, which is good for low carb diet customers. The atmosphere at the restaurant was very good and relaxing, the servers were very professional, polite and knowledgeable about their menu. We enjoy seating at their covered patio. If you are going the first time, just pick any of what you like. If you have trouble making decision, you can always ask the server for their recommendations!
