On my way home from work on December 3rd, I was craving the grilled wings from Sicilian Oven and the Fort Lauderdale location is closer to my place. I called them and ask if they would allow me to order only the drums-sticks of the wings just like the Boca Raton location would allow it for me. The girl who picked up was busy chatting and laughing to her co-wokers next to her and were not paying attention. I had to repeat my request and after she understood, she bluntly said no they could not do that. I had to beg her a few times for her to build the motivation to go ask the chef, but I had no success in her. I was disappointed and hang up the phone. Regretting that I was not going to have my favorite grilled wings that night, I thought and called the restaurant again and offered to pay extra if they would prepare only the drums-sticks only, her response was consistently no. I asked to speak with the manager, I believe her name was Stephanie. I asked her why they would not accommodate my request when I offered to pay extra for it. She had no idea what drums-sticks only of the wings were. I had to explain to her in a childish way that when you order wings anywhere, you get two kinds of wings pieces. The flat ones are called "flats" and the non-flat ones are called "drum-sticks". She put me on hold and came back to tell me that of course they could do that and there would not be an extra charge for that. I was relieved but still angry that the person who answered the phone gave me the wring information and did not even ask the chef. I ordered two orders of the grilled wings with drum-sticks only. She said it would take 20-30 mins. I got there 40 mins later and went to the pick up counter but they could not find my order at the pick up window nor in the computer. I asked to speak with the manager and asked what was going on. She went to the kitchen and told me that the kitchen was behind and the wings would be ready in another 10 minutes. I sat at the bar and ordered a martini. 10 mins went by, no wings. 20 mins went by, no wings. 40 mins went by, no wings, I called her again, and 5 mins later I got my wings. I tipped for the take-out person and paid for my martini and tipped the bartender. It took them 85 minutes to prepare my wings and she did not even offer to comp by drink since it was an inconvenience for that long wait. I got home, showered and sat down to eat my wings..... Surprise.,,..,.. My wings had both flats and drum-sticks. I was apauled and called the restaurant again and asked to speak with Stephanie since she was the one that took my order. She rudely put me on speaker phone for the rest of the staff to hear my anger while I could hear them laugh while she kept asking me to repeat myself because it was too loud where she was. This triggered my blood pressure to rise. She finally told me that she would comp the order can cancel my credit card payment. 3 weeks went by, still no reversal of my credit card payment was made. After a month, I called and ask to speak with the GM. The manager on duty, a gentleman who I do not remember the name unfortunately told me the GM was not there and he took my complaint to forward to him to have him call me. A week went by, no call from Sicilian Oven. I called and spoke to the same manager and he told me that the GM was not there. He was sorry and promised to relay my complaint to the GM and he would reach out to me. 5 months are gone now. Neither my payment was reversed, nor did I hear from anyone from that restaurant. I called the Boca location and he manager who knew me very well, had no words for my experience and was very apologetic. He suggested that I contact corporate through this website. I have never had to file a complaint to the corporate in my whole life but this one got way too far. Not only I did not eat those wings, not only my credit card charges was not reversed till today, but I wasted 85 minutes of aggravation after my work hours to enjoy a simple dish that I...

Read moreMy wife called a week in advance to make a reservation for 6 of us on January 1st at 6:45 pm (Fort Lauderdale location) for my sons birthday. We requested a section of the large wood table next to the bar and was assured that it would be no problem. On December 31st we received a text confirming our reservation. On January 1st we received a second text confirming our reservation. My wife also called the restaurant just to confirm our specific location. She was assured that everything was 100%. We should up at 6:45 and was told that the table (area) that we asked for was not available that the owner wanted his party sitting there and that nothing was available and we needed to wait. I asked to speak with the manager. Your manager was very rude and dismissive. He scolded me saying that "we don't take reservations, only call ahead and you will have to wait" I was blown away. We eat there at least twice a month and was shocked as usually the service and staff are outstanding. I suggest you and your manager get on the same page as we were NEVER told that it was call ahead only. Our reservation was taken confirmed and re-confirmed twice via text. Very disappointing! *UPDATE TO REVIEW: Ten minutes after posting this review a representative contacted my wife regarding our experience. She explain to her that there was an error in the software that sends out the confirmations and that they do not in fact take reservation but do offer "call ahead" seating. She apologized and said that the error would be corrected immediately. Other than this incident this restaurant has been a solid "10". Their food is some of the best Italian food I have ever eaten. I would...
