Passed by on our way to a chain restaurant in the same plaza. There wasn’t a soul in the location we were going to, yet this location was bustling with guests inside and out. Decided to ask the hostess to look at a menu. Manuela graciously obliged without hesitation. Sadly, I wasn’t dressed for an upscale location but that didn’t seem to matter.
We were seated at a nice corner table by the window. Soon after José came by to introduce himself and mention Atom, our server would be with us shortly.
Atom then came over a few minutes later to greet us after visiting with another table outside. He shared some information about the menu and gave a few recommendations then left us alone to decide our meals.
Julie chose the Grilled Chicken Platter. Which was served with a bed of spinach rice, rosemary lemon potatoes, a side of tzatziki and a small Greek salad. The chicken was grilled to perfection, tender and moist. The spinach rice added a unique flavor while the freshly made pita that accompanied the dish, was a perfect complement to the tzatziki.
I ordered the Shrimp Castella. A generous portion of shrimp sautéed with spinach rice, onions, scallions and mushrooms in an amazingly flavorful tomato and garlic sauce. This beauty was topped off with a feta cheese that offered a nice bite to the dish which was baked prior to being served.
As we enjoyed our meals, we noticed José and another server’s interactions with other employees and guests alike. Each interaction was that of belonging to a family. It brought a true feeling of “home” to a place where you’d normally meet strangers and rarely ever see them again.
As we were savoring our last bites, another gentleman passed by our table to inquire how everything was. I had noticed him previously sitting at the end of the bar with his computer quietly working away. Assumed he was the owner, but had to verify. George was indeed the owner. I had to complement the team on their heartfelt interactions with each guest and each other. The delicious meal only complemented our experience. He thanked us and we continued our conversation about his team, the food and the restaurant as a whole. Amazing story for a place that opened less than a month ago.
As we concluded our meal and the conversation, George extended an extremely generous offer which we couldn’t refuse. Thank you Sir!
If you are even remotely close to this place, I highly recommend a visit. After our dinner, we undoubtedly will return before leaving town at the end...

We stumbled upon Ethos Greek Restaurant on a whim, drawn in by a handful of glowing 5-star reviews and some seriously mouthwatering food photos. It turns out, every bit of that praise was well-earned and then some.
From the moment we were greeted at the front, we knew this wasn’t going to be your average dinner out. Derrick walked us to our table and immediately set the tone with warmth and attentiveness, giving us a thoughtful intro to the menu (perfect for first-timers like us). Moments later, Nathena or “Thena,” as we came to know her, arrived with a smile that could brighten the entire Aegean Sea. She walked us through the menu and cocktails with such genuine enthusiasm that we found ourselves nodding, smiling, and saying “we’ll take that” more than once.
You could feel the energy of the place, everyone was smiling, mainly due to the staff. There’s a lightness and joy that fills the room, and it’s clearly no accident.
Enter Katron, the General Manager and, frankly, the heartbeat of the restaurant. I called him over after overhearing a hilarious comment he made to another table (eavesdropping pays off sometimes). What followed was an impromptu conversation that felt less like small talk and more like reconnecting with a long-lost cousin who happens to be a hospitality wizard. His warmth, passion, and care for his team and guests are truly rare — this is someone who doesn’t just manage a restaurant; he cultivates a community.
By the time Alex and Evan stopped by to check in on our experience, we were fully in the “adopt us into this restaurant family” mindset. Every person we met treated us like welcome guests at their personal dinner table. It’s not just good service — it’s intentional kindness wrapped in a plate of freshly prepared, made-to-order Greek deliciousness (yes, everything is made in-house, down to the sauces and juices).
We came in on a whim, but we left with a new go-to spot and a big smile on our faces. Ethos is what happens when soul, food, and hospitality come together in perfect balance.

Read moreWe ate at the newest location on 17th street and were blown away. For starters, the vibe is great. Both indoor and outdoor areas are clean, comfortable and feel elevated considering it’s in a shopping center. The service was impeccable. Our server, food runners and manager made us feel like family and anticipated our needs before we even realized we had them. Truly a 5-star experience. Saving the best for last, let’s talk about the food. Some of the freshest, most delicious food we have ever tasted. We love Greek food and travel quite a bit and this is some of the best Greek food we have had around the world. We loved all the starters we got including the zucchini coquettes, dolma grape leaves, calamari, and spanakopita. The gyro was melt in your mouth tender and sliced to perfection. The watermelon salad was refreshing and perfectly flavored but the true standout was the branzino. The fish was seasoned and cooked to a delicious flaky heaven. Despite the fact we were stuffed from all the amazing food, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to try the triple layer cheesecake (baklava is the bottom layer…yum) and the flourless chocolate cake. Both were worth the calories and 10/10. Overall, I would highly recommend for the impeccable service and food. You can tell everyone working here loves their job and takes pride in...
