Marina Mile Pizza — Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale

I'm going to completely honest the dishes don't even properly get clean I saw one of the workers spray Windex on a plate to clean how disgusting and unsanitary the place is. As a father I wouldn't even let my daughter use the bathroom I had to take her next door to mini pita which I ended up ordering there I highly recommend next door for food instead of this place. Not only was it dirty I overheard the staff arguing with the owner about pay on how he shorted their checks after working really hard and it wasn't just one staff it was his entire team including manager. Its disappointing as a customer to hear that staff is working very hard and not to receive pay not only that the owner keeps the tips and tips them out at the end of the week and shorts them on tips. Why eat here, when the owner is a shady businessman. If he cant even be trusted to pay his employees this business should not be open while all these violations. The pizza here is not authentic from the looks and smell but the taste of your first bite will be very depressing. And please do not get me started on them dry mildew tasting wings. Horrible business with really unprofessional and shady business practices. Honestly surprised they haven't been shut down by some buearu yet.

They don't offer refunds, even though they took our money but couldn't give us what we ordered. This is fraudulent behavior and should be investigated. And if the price were higher, I would have absolutely reported this form of theft to my bank.

They also gave us a pizza for the hour long wait. The problem? We watched a different customer come and return that same pizza a half an hour before. The customer's name was written on the box so it was obvious that it was the exact same pizza. Which is soooo gross! You don't know what that customer did. In most places, it's not allowed to bring food back into the kitchen for this exact unhygienic reason.

The guy working the kitchen looked unhygienic in the first place, so I guess it follows. He was also obnoxiously rude to the woman working the front. I assume he's the owner, which also follows this joke of business.

To the buisiness: I'd suggest reframing your policies before you get shut down and wind up in prison for fraud.

To any potential customers: you will be much happier elsewhere. Literaly...

If I could give 0 stars I would. I Googled to see if they were still open and it said they were. I get there and the "OPEN" light is on but the door is locked. Mind you,, it's 10:20 pm and I just left work. A young white kid with glasses came to the door and said we're closed. I asked him how if Google says your still open? The old white man with long white hair in a ponytail with missing teeth told him to close the door. I said, I am a customer asking questions and your closing the door on me?? So, I knocked on the glass and asked the old white guy to come to the door and asked him the same thing. He was so nasty and rude saying what do you want were closed. He said he was counting $ and it's dangerous to open the door while counting $. In my mind, I'm thinking, why are you counting it out front where outsiders can see you through the glass? I asked him is that how you treat customers? Or just me? The light says your open so ate you the manager? Do you make your own hours? He said he doesn't know how else to say, they are closed.
