Nondescript and so very casual, tucked away in a shopping plaza off of Marina Mile / SR 84, this is one little place you’ll be so glad you found. Small and cozy with a few extra tables outside, the exceptional food—and the excellent service—you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Shaiana greeted us with a warm smile as we walked in and provided service worthy of a 5-star, upscale restaurant, with her true attention to detail and genuine interest in making sure everything was exceptional. The Mediterranean menu features typical items you’d expect including some Greek favorites and a nice selection of traditional desserts. They claim they have “the best hummus is South Florida,” and—they do! Even the Turkish coffee was over-the-top GREAT! The meat is Halal, they do serve beer and wine, along with a nice choice of nonalcoholic beverages. Lots of parking up front. Just FYI: they have a second location up in Pompano if that’s more convenient. Conclusion: A GREAT FIND that exceeds all expectations! *UPDATE: Came back again to enjoy the amazing food. Shaiana warmly greeted us and Sarah served us this time. Conclusion: Sarah is awesome too and the service is consistently top-notch, as is the food. Have you tried this place out yet? BTW: it’s (almost) never too late—they’re open until 2 AM! *BACK AGAIN and Jade was totally awesome! She reinforced all the reasons we keep coming back to this terrific restaurant! JADE: thanks for the GREAT dining experience! *Can’t stay away from this amazing place! Florie took care of making sure everything was GREAT again today. Another perfect experience. FLORIE: THANKS for proving that everyone here always makes sure to go...

I ordered food today during my lunch break and picked up around 1:30p.m. today for my family dinner. I ordered five of their platters, 2 lentil soups, 2 appetizers, it was a big order.

Unfortunately, I disliked the hummus and the Fava Beans appetizer, had a burned bitter after taste. The Eggplant Kataif tasted like plastic very strange flavor profile.

This was their response: -I requested a refund or even one dessert would be okay, since we couldn't eat the food and brought the food in.

-I was told that the manager Sara was not in, and they called her and allowed me to speak with her.

-She lectured me on how late I came in to complain about the food after their "15 min protocol" and that if I had called 15 minutes after picking up the order, I would have gotten a free appetizer and dessert. The problem was I had to get back to work and could only go back after work on the same day.

-I was told how this is an award winning restaurant, and she shared how no one has ever complaint about the flavor profile in the past

-She continued to lecture me that in the restaurant business you can only request a refund if there is a hair or undercooked or overcooked.

-I told her you are willing to lose a potential recurring customer, since this was my first time and I was really looking forward to the meal, over a refund of $13.25 for the eggplant platter and $4.25 from a lentil soup.

-Her response... I ended leaving food and...

Where to begin...we're at the hospital late so ordered Uber Eats at Mini Pita because it was one of the few places still open. First off, the restaurant admitted to giving the Uber driver the wrong order because they got confused that there were two Uber orders with soup. We ordered two sandwiches and soup and we received soup and a side of fries. The Uber driver refused to go back or help and told me to call support. I called the restaurant and they confirmed that they gave the driver thr wrong order and that the sandwiches were there. At this point there is no choice but to drive to the restaurant. Sure enough the sandwiches are there. Thankfully I asked if they added the feta cheese we paid extra for on Uber Eats which they had not and gave me a side. Back at the hospital to eat. I ordered the gyro. The meat was so unappetizing that I just threw it all out and just ate the Pita, feta and vegetables out of hunger. It was dry and hard and tasted old.I love Gyros and this was just terrible. On to my wife's chicken swarma..my wife is 9 months pregnant by the way...her chicken is raw and looks like ahí tuna (see picture). Thankfully it doesn't take her long to catch and we throw it all out. Side of fries we received which we did not order also inedible...the soup wasn't bad, 👏. Uber refunded us but at this point I rather have a full belly.. Eat at your own risk!...

Incredible First Visit – Definitely Coming Back! This was my first time dining here, and it certainly won’t be my last! The entire experience was fantastic, from the warm hospitality to the authentic Egyptian flavors. Our waitress, Sarah was amazing, she’s half Egyptian and has been to Egypt, so she expertly guided us through the menu and curated a perfect spread for my wife, two kids, and me. We started with the moussaka (eggplant in a rich red sauce), fava beans (made mildly spicy upon request), and hummus served with soft, fresh pita bread—every bite was delicious. For the main course, we had koshari, lamb shawarma, chicken shawarma, grilled shrimp shawarma, and kofta, all bursting with flavor. The house hot sauce on the side was the perfect complement. To top it off, we indulged in coconut apricot Kataif dessert, which was a great way to end the meal. For drinks, we had the hibiscus lemonade and mint unsweetened tea (though sweetener is available if preferred). Overall, everything was outstanding! If you’re looking for authentic Egyptian cuisine with excellent service, this place is a must-visit.
