El Desembarco Fort Lauderdale — Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale

I would like to give this place a good review, but during our two days stay in Fort Lauderdale we were a bit disappointed.

First of all, the staff is Awsome and the food is wonderful, but the two new cooks are very slow cookers.

My first time I recieved my order after 10 min, and not my sister, she had to wait another 10 min.

The other time during diner time was wonderful no waiting.

Our last time for diner it was not as nice, only 2 of the 8 people received their plates, the others ones were served almost individually or by two within a span of 10 min each after. The food was very tasty, but the wait made the family dinner unpleasant. To make it worst, some of us got food poisoning.

If it wasn't for the new cooks, I would have gave a 5 stars, but one of the waiter had to intervene and cook with them to make things works. Sadly she came too late, my order was not made by her and I got food poisoning.

I understand that new employees can have a time of adaptation, but I worked in restauration and by experience I would like to say that they were not ready to be left alone.

It was not just us, a lot of clients were disappointed and complaining with their take outs on both of the days we went there, one lady waited 45 min...

I was there on Thursday on a business meeting and food was excellent. Even talked it up to my wife. Was excited to treat my family to burgers on the weekend but we never got to experience it. I went in and from the get go the woman taking my order was very rude. I ordered the vicio with an extra patty, grilled onions, and fries. Also a cheeseburger with ketchup and mustard only. Both burgers were wrong and no fries were given. I bring it to Haydeliz attention and immediately gives me an attitude. Immediately blames me. Has the nerve to tell me I don't know how to to order. Goes to the back and even other customers agree with me and ask for their check so they can leave. She was definitely not nice at all. Horrible experience with her. People skills are a Zero. Dont think I would ever go back because of her. Wish I can give zero...

The amount of burgers to choose from are INSANE! We had the Normandy and the San Antonio burgers. Without the server asking us, or us requesting the burgers to be cooked a certain way, the burgers arrived at our table cooked medium to medium well-PERFECT! Both burgers came with 🥓, 🧅 and 🥚. The different if the two were the amount of patties. I had 3, she had 2. Very filling and so satisfying. The place wasn't busy for a Sat afternoon, but music was playing in the background and they have many TV screens surrounding the inside, so everyone can see their favorite sports, news, or tv shows.
