Manager Elizabeth needs to be re-trained in proper customer service and she also needs to be retrained in being able to manage her staff correctly by setting the proper example in correcting an incorrect order.
Absolutely terrible customer service experience. The only close to best customer service was the older woman at the first window with the upbeat voice. I wish I remembered her name. Unfortunately, this same person got my order wrong. nobody’s perfect - I get it but when I received my order from the next woman at the second window, I noticed that she gave me a chocolate Sunday instead of my requested chocolate milkshake. she informed me that I needed to pay the difference for the milkshake. I was taken aback as, usually they give you what you want without you having to pay the difference since it was their mistake. I didn’t make a big deal so I took out my phone to pay for using Apple Pay as I did at the first window. (The price difference was $1.28) They couldn’t accept my Apple Pay even though I used this as my original form of payment, because they didn’t have the equipment at the second window so they told me to pay inside. (A DOLLAR AND 28 CENTS) I was already in a rush to get where I needed to go and they made the mistake on my order. I asked to speak to the manager and the manager (who says her name is Elizabeth)., responded that I needed to pay inside or else I couldn’t get my order that I wanted. Keep in mind they were the ones who made the mistake and I didn’t have the time to go inside. I scavenged my car for another form of payment and found something. Keep in mind that if they get your order wrong, they will never take accountability for it at this McDonald’s. They are Penny pinchers, even when they make the mistake. Manager Elizabeth needs to be re-trained, especially in being an example to the rest of her subordinates by compensating for all incorrect orders without hassle or disrespect, especially when it was their own mistake. Read moreexperience, came to this mcdonald's for the first time since the 2700 near by is doing a deep clean. but omg, i don't like this mcdonald's already, as someone who used to work at one. this one is bad management! and here i thought the 1600 was bad... naaa. first of the way the employees get treated, as if they are children of their own. stressing the employees out isn't good. want to work well and have things go well in the store RESPECT YOUR EMPLOYEES! HELP THEM TO OUT. don't just standing there yelling! especially if an employee wasn't never taught a thing to do IT ISN'T THEIR FAULT! it's the crew trainer or managers fault for not showing an employee how to do certain things! TRAIN BETTER! i can tell the employees infront was so stressed out, this store is going to drain her slowly! never coming to this store EVER again. i don't recommend to anyone. and please oh God pull up yours pants! just like when the boss or supervisor be coming in. all of a sudden everyone is on their best behavior and dressed right. STAY THAT WAY. now the food i don't know if it's good or cooked well. just got home and im going to see how well is it. i hope it is cooked well and not sitting in those heating containers!!! Tonight I came to this restaurant outside my area while returning from the mall to only be treated in an unprofessional manner. As I placed my order I requested two combo meals and no salt on the fries for each combo and food cook to order for freshness. Upon pulling up to the pay window I was asked “ what was your order”? Sadly, the young lady had to look for my order. Next, when I repeated the order for her I once again asked for no salt to only hear staff in the front yelling that they’re not dropping any fresh fries just to give me no salt. Blown away was an understatement as I was requesting something very simply. In addition, the staff continued to go back and fourth with the cashier about my combo order till I just expressed if this is going to continue and no one will just make sure I have no salt on fries and cook to order my meal’s then I’ll just go somewhere else. The manager a male with Braid’s & very light skinned came to the window not even apologizing for the employees behavior and issued me a refund. At the end of the day as a manager he can hear all the negative comments being made and not once did he apologize or offer to ensure the meal’s were prepared correctly.
