The Burger Den — Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale

This is just a Denny's burger, probably billed under their "create your own burger" menu, in other words, a weird kind of scam. I'm not exaggerating, the receipt says it's called "The Burger Den" but when you pick it up it's just the entrance of Denny's. The reason it doesn't work is that Denny's burgers aren't craft burgers, they're low quality cuts of beef that have to be cooked well done probably because of e. coli risk.

On the plus side the burger was huge, but the meat was totally flavorless. No matter how they try to disguise it it's just a Denny's burger made with Denny's ingredients. Which isn't to say it's bad, just not great. I will say the amount of fries they gave me was pitiful, less than a handful. If you're not going to use quality ingredients at least overload me with quantity. At almost $19 this was not a bad meal but also felt like a rip off. Way better places in Coconut Creek like BRGR Stop where you can get real gourmet burgers at that price, so no real reason...

I had a co-worker bring these in to our office today for lunch, and I was very excited to be the first review for this restaurant! The presentation was fantastic, and the burgers were savory. I hope to go in person and check this place...
