Walked by this place a few times on 33rd and it always seemed so lively so this time I stopped in for happy hour. They have a great menu. I tried something called Poutine, which is fries with some kind of sauce on it. This was Ropa Vieja Poutine - a shredded beef with gravy - that was very flavorful and filling. I asked for salt and pepper because in South Florida everyone seems to be on a restricted sodium diet which is making the local food very bland, but I didn't need it. The fries were seasoned perfectly as was the meat. I tried two of their cocktails a Snaquiri and a something that came in a tiki glass, which was a lot of fun. I usually only drink wine so I know what rum tastes like when I order it and I really didn't taste much in these drinks, but it was happy hour so I just thought they might be light on the liquor during those hours. I also had some of their nuts which were ooey-gooey so they were fun to eat slowly. The service was pleasant but seemed untrained and young. I know the problems restaurants are facing with staff, but to be honest, my patience is starting to wear a little thin and that's really the only complaint I have about this place. The bartender was helpful in explaining some of the added exotic-to-me ingredients in their concoctions but with all of those ingredients she seemed a little overwhelmed as she was handling the whole place herself and it seemed very few tables were drinking beer. The clientele seemed like a bunch of friendly of people, tourists and locals, young and older and everyone seemed to be having a good time. It has big doors that push back so it is wide open on each side - great when there's a breeze and to watch people walk to or from the beach across A1A. They have high tops, booths and tables and a few tables out doors. A giant big screen TV flanked by some smaller ones with (thank goodness) something else besides sports on it. They also had a great girl trumpet player -singer, which was not too loud and very entertaining. All in all I would highly recommend this place and I look forward to going back and trying some more of...

Read moreThis is an absolute hidden gem in the greater Fort Lauderdale area! My boyfriend and I decided to try out their happy hour and were able to grab a seat at the bar quickly. I was really happy to see a bar have legitimate handcrafted cocktails on their happy hour menu instead of some wells drinks. The prices on the normal menu are incredibly fair too, especially for the quality of food and drinks you’re getting! I had the Elderflower G&T which was really light and refreshing, and I also had the Orchard Cosmo which was my favorite! My boyfriend got the Palomita and the Pink Panther, and he loved the latter! We also split Drunked Gummy shots which were good! It was fun to see unique shots on the happy hour menu! For food, we got the fried pickles which were really tasty, the cauliflower wings with garlic parm sauce which were huge and also really good, and lastly the focaccia bruschetta which was the clear winner, we could’ve ordered that over and over. The atmosphere is a nice change from the normal noise and clutter of most of the downtown bars; you get a nice amount of attention from the staff who talk with you about your order and we appreciated their opinions on what to order! They have a few tvs too, so it’s a nice place to watch a game without the commentators blaring over speakers. This is our new favorite happy hour spot, and we’ll be back even outside...
