I strongly suggest no one visit this hotel until they are completed with renovations. Once i checked in, It had taken me 15minutes to find out where to go since the whole exterior of the hotel was under renovations. The walkway for guests was filled with construction debris, material and tools. Extremely unsafe environment for guests. I had to step over tools and construction materials to get to the elevators and stairs. Parking lot and walkways are dirty from construction. Loud machinery early morning and late evening. Not suitable for relaxing / comforting stay. The rooms are decently renovated, although, the AC unit in the room was very noisy. The balcony door locked on me while i was sitting outside, had to call a construction worker to break open the door to my room to free me. The admin compensated me 1 free night but i dont not think that is enough for the stress that i had to go through.
In conclusion , the hotel has potential to be a decent affordable venue once renovations are complete. But the renovations are poorly managed, making the premise an uncomfortable and dangerous place.
Im expecting a personal message from the hotel admin to further compensate for all...
Read moreSince the hotel was undergoing remodeling, there was no prior notice, so we had to navigate through the rubble and machinery. During the day we wanted to rest but we couldn't because the noice of the machines. The hotel’s parking spot is extremely limited, so we had to wait for a space every time we returned. There’s only one elevator, which for some reason takes an unusually long time to open. Sometimes, the housekeeper’s car is inside the elevator, so we had to find a way to fit inside or use the stairs. And finally, the bathroom tiles were moving, and some were broken. Since there was no ventilation in the bathroom, the vapor and odor had nowhere to go. There were no hangers for wet clothes, so we had to use the doors or the chairs to ventilate them. The safe wasn’t...
Read moreThe place has been under construction literally for years at this point even if it is very unlikely that you will be bothered by construction noises during you stay there. Rooms are however spotless and kept very clean. Even if you book for the Garden Hotel itself, there is a big chance that you will be given a room in their annexes that are just renovated motels. When asked to stay in the actual Hotel , they will be misleading by saying that the Hotel is also under construction which is a lie as there is clearly people staying there ( if there is a price difference, they should inform at time of booking) No pool, no Bar but you have restaurants and supermarket across the street. The beach is like a solid 15...
