Came here for dinner and I’m not sure what changed from now to last year, but the service was terrible. From the minute I walked in, to the service and atmosphere I was not impressed. When we first arrived a hostess came from wherever she was and seemed highly annoyed that she had to come seat us. I had to speak and say hello to even get an acknowledgment. If I didn’t she probably would’ve just brought us to a table saying absolutely nothing. This should’ve been the first red flag. She threw our menus down and told us to enjoy as she literally walked off mid word. It gave very forced like she didn’t want to be there. We sat down with some sticky menus and waited 15 minutes before a man finally came and asked us what we wanted to drink and took our orders all in the same moment. The drinks took another 10 minutes just to receive. Meanwhile we were sat by the gossips corner where all the servers were in a corner chatting and on their cellphones. We get our food and I’m not impressed whatsoever with my food. But let’s start with the fact that I ordered queso beforehand and it was cold. When the food comes I did not like my quesadilla at all. I barely ate the rice on my plate and left everything else untouched after I tried the quesadilla and did not like it. The man walks by a million times but is too busy in his phone to acknowledge the fact that I’m annoyed and sitting there with a full plate. I finally wave him down and explain I did not like the food and to take it back. He stood there and acted like I was in the wrong when I explained I didn’t like the meal. Then he proceeds to walk off after taking my food and is back in the corner on his phone. No apology, no nothing. I wave him over again to get the check and he still charges me for a side order of beans I didn’t even touch. The service was terrible and so was the food. Don’t waste your money or time coming here. This place is a joke!! We walked in sat us down as normal. Then when they brought us chips and salsa I noticed the serving plate was disgusting but thought that was just the person not cleaning after spilling some salsa before serving us. But then we sat there for a good ten or more minutes not a single person server no one came to us to take our drink order at the same time the servers and bussers were on the other side of the wall cursing and playing around. That’s why we left but on the way out I stopped at the bar to atleast pay for chips and salsa and make a complaint but then noticed how disgusting the bar was and realized we were making the right choice by leaving. There were dirty plates and glasses all over the bar and I can’t believe we were about to eat there. We then walked over to Empire pizza and got great service, a clean eating environment and good food. If I could give no stars I would. Don’t eat here unless you want to get sick and get terrible service. You should shut your restaurant down!!! Just...

Charandas is a top notch Mexican restaurant with a fun and festive atmosphere. Last night a group of 14 Moms went out to celebrate our girl turning 38. I had a delicious Paloma with Casa Migos and their bean and cheese queso which is my go to appetizer there. Soooo yum. They had just brought out the giant sombrero for the bday girl to wear while we sang to her when a Karen tried to (quite literally) rain on our parade when she started yelling obscenities at us and throwing drinks at our tabIe for being too loud. I can honestly say that I have NEVER witnessed anything like this before and was appalled by her incredibly rude and uncalled for behavior. The management and staff handled this in a very professional manner and I applaud them. They were just as shocked as we were! This restaurant deserves more than 5 stars.
