Definitely recommend! Amazing food, great customer service (thanks Clyde) and super clean restaurant. This was my family's first time trying this place and needless to say, we will be back! :)
I had called around 5 pm due to our prior reservations elsewhere fell through (thank goodness though because it was definitely worth the change in plans) and asked when a party of 6 could come in tonight and they said 6 pm - perfect.
When we arrived they had the cutest name plate on the table that said "Autumn party of 6 for 6 pm."
My family and I ordered plenty of food and a couple drinks and only 2 items were not the best (our personal opinion). Compliments all around and even Clyde could handle our craziness!
We ordered the following:
Appetizers - Spicy Tuna Rice Crips (my personal favorite), KFC Wings (they poured the sauce down the middle of the wings but would love to have the option to have it drenched in the sauce - brother loves spicy!), Sashimi Tuna Nachos (adding jalapenos would have been even better), and 2 orders of Bao Buns.
Entrees - Short Rib (fell off the bone and really did not even need the knife to cut through the meat, it was amazing - will be getting this for myself the next time), 2 orders of Bulgolgi (this is how it is spelled on their menu), Pork Shoulder Bossam, and a Wagyu Burger (I added the fried egg and also siracha on top of the spicy mayo they provide for added spice).
Dessert - Note: This was not listed on their menu but when asked separately, they provided a tablet that showed the options. Mochi ice cream (came with mango, strawberry, and green tea - the green tea none of us enjoyed but the other two were great. I wonder if you can order it customized), the chocolate cake (so moist and delicious - my personal favorite as well), the white chocolate cheesecake (I think it also had a swirl of blueberry because it came with blueberries as well - so good!), and an order of the Chinese Churros (Flavor was all there but they were a little too crispy in our opinion. I think if fried a little less they would have perfect - it is also a good sized portion and definitely the best option if wanting to share with multiple people).
We will...
Read moreThe restaurant is located in a beautiful area in close proximity to plenty of shops and amenities. We ordered KFC chicken, curry, pork belly bao bun, and spice fried rice. The food was delicious and fantastic considering since it was our first time here. However, we were disappointed in the customer service from our waitress, Sonia. As soon as we received our order, Sonia didn't give us any silverware so my kids spent the first few minutes eating with their hands. We did inform the male employee who brought the food to us that we didn't receive any silverware; however, he nor anyone returned thereafter to distribute any silverware. Although, we did observe Sonia pass silverware to other customers seated near us. We then requested silverware from her and proceeded with our meal disregarding the already rough start. But as we were eating our meals and me and my kids finished our water, we noticed that Sonia never replenished our water, but she did refill the water of customers next to us. At that point, me and my husband were just extremely dissatisfied. My husband spoke to April and the manager in regards to our poor customer service experience, and they were immensely apologetic, respectful, professional, and resolved the matter expeditiously. Nonetheless, I appreciate the manager's and April's outstanding conflict resolution and exemplary customer service skills, and we will return again due to this and the excellent food. Thank you to the manager...
Read moreI have heard many great things about Spice Asian Kitchen so I decided to take my family here for lunch to see if all the hype was true. First of all, the outside decor is excellent but the inside doesn't match with what you would think of Asian cuisine. Nonetheless, when we arrived we were quickly seated but because they were short staffed, it took the waitress a while to help us. To be fair, she was in training so I don't knock off any points for that.
The menu is very diverse and really caters to a broad spectrum of dishes but that's where they start to lose me because they offer everything from Bulgogi Tacos, burgers, duck to salmon. So, the name Spice Asian Kitchen can be a little misleading. Because, when I think of Asian cuisines, I really don't expect to see anything else on the menu that doesn't pertain to Asian dishes, but that's my opinion.
I ordered the Bulgogi Tacos and dumplings which were very good but the tacos didn't have much sauce on them so I had to ask for more sauce. The food is light, flavorful but not overpowering. When you finish eating, you don't feel full but you know that you've eaten which is nice.
I would recommend Spice Asian Kitchen with the caveat that they are not strictly an Asian restaurant. The ambiance is nice, the seating is well laid out and they also offer...
