Customer service is a very important component of where I spend my dollars. I have visited this store several times in the past but this time the customer service was not great. When I walked into the establishment the workers were sitting down and I was greeted half-heartedly. After placing my order the sitting employees began to work on another internet order as opposed to my in store order. Finally, once my order was prepared, instead of handing me my bowl and saying have a great day, the employee set the bowl on the counter and the walked away without a word. I found that weird because I was standing there at the counter waiting my order. I politely ask the employee if that was my bowl and she muttered "yeah". I wasn't going to post this because I don't like leaving negative reviews but the atmosphere and there was okay but the server was a little off. I feel like I was judged for buying a smoothie I was looked at up and down and I wasn't even handed a straw with my smoothie. I don't know the server just came off standoffish and I know that the person overheard was trying to over correct for her but it was weird and I didn't like it. When working a customer service job you actually have to have customer service. The guys that were in front of me having their bowl and drink seem to be getting a different service than I was. The location and concept are great! However, for a place that serves açaí bowls, it's important to keep in mind that many people go there because they enjoy the natural taste of açaí.

The bowl was well presented, but unfortunately, the taste and texture clearly showed that it was sweetened with something very artificial, which took away from the overall flavor.

I really hope the owners consider adjusting this early on, since the place just opened — because aside from that, it has everything it takes to be an amazing...
