First... Conner was very nice and was trying to make it right. Now... We received the wrong order, then was told we got what we paid for. Ticket showed regular spegitti and we said baked spegitti. When I confronted the manager about what we ordered, as well as, the price of the item was not the same as what was on the overhead board, she said she had been the manager for a long time there and know what the prices are and didn't appreciate being treated like a child. I was just upset and she made it about her. My mother came up and took the blame. My mother said she must not have said the order plainly. The manager knew I was having a parent day out, while she was looking at my mother, she said "I don't know how you were raised, but my father was an owner of a multi million dollar business and I was taught to treat everyone the same from janitor (had her hand lower) to the CEO (had her hands higher) ". When I told her that I would have spoken to her the same even if she was my mom's age, she she threw her hand up her hand, rolled her eyes, and said she would make it OK. Then gave us the correct dishes. Maybe I was was a bit of a Karen..I don't know. But, to make your customer feel like they are offending the manager, to me, is a form of gaslighting. Needless to say, I never ate because I was so upset. I apologized to her later because I offended her. ...
Read moreThis location was the perfect place to take my wife for an exquisite and intimate date. We walked in and were greeted by friendly faces. I walked up to the cashier and ordered two baked ziti dishes (one with cheese and one without) as well as two soft drinks. I had just got done listening to Alfredo 2 by Gary Indiana's own, Freddie Gibbs and the legendary producer The Alchemist. It really had me hankering for some pasta and let me tell you, it was totally worth it. The food was great and the bread sticks put that other place that peddles olives to shame. My wife loved her ziti as well and expressed great satisfaction with her crispy diet Pepsi. For dessert we decided to treat ourselves to the world renouned treats they sell from Great American Cookies. I had a chocolate chip cookie, and my wife had the brownie. Yummy is just one of the many words I can think of to describe the taste of the cookie I had. Wonderful job Ft. Oglethorpe location. You knocked it out of the park for me today.
I'll end this review off with one final anecdote. While eating, I expressed the sad feeling I had to my wife about their not being a local Fazollis where we reside, which is about an hour and a half away. Her response was "this is now our local Fazollis." I thought that was so beautiful. We will definitely be coming back for...
Read moreThe parking lot was full, but nobody in the drive thru. I pulled up and made my order then pulled right up to the window. The cashier was very nice and pleasant. She took my payment, handed me part my order and asked me to pull ahead and wait for the other part of my order. It only took a few minutes and she brought it out to me. No other customer pulled through the drive-thru in that time. I understand when you have a special order that might take longer and they ask you to pull forward so they can process other orders. But I'm sure they were trying to lower their clock average of customers at the window. If restaurants would quit doing this corporate would have accurate numbers that they could work with and not have huge expectations for window times. And I think it's terrible for corporate to penalize stores and employees for these window times especially when it comes to special orders.
My special order chicken parmesan was absolutely wonderful. I prefer meat sauce instead of marinara with some extra cheese. It was baked perfectly and tasted great. I also ordered a family size meat sauce it came with a lot of extra random pasta in it.... better pasta than something else I guess. The breadsticks were perfect and the whole meal just hit the spot I've been craving spaghetti...
