Ok. So I recently bought halo 4 and the map packs on the release date. The only problem was that the activation code printed out illegibly on the receipt. They were busy so the cashier, Guy1, told me to see if i can make it out at home and if I still couldn't figure it out to come back and he would take care of it. After trying for awhile I gave them a call. Guy1 answered and told me there's nothing he could do and to call xbox. Called xbox and they gave me the same answer but to contact a manager of gamestop. I went to gamestop and talked to someone else, Guy2, who pretty much called me a liar and told me the illegibility happened over time. He completely disrespected me. Told me that was impossible. After disagreement turned to arguing, he cut me off and said "good talk" then helped someone else. Guy1 came over got my receipt and wrote down the corporate number on the receipt, telling me that he vaguely remembers the receipt printing that way and that he would do everything he can to make sure it's right if the phone number can't help me. Corporate number worked. Fyi, they for some reason could not reprint the receipt. I understand that they can't do what's out of their control but also, Guy2 should have just listened for 2 minutes rather than arguing with me. Long story short, I won't be going back and if you do go here NEVER BUY ACTIVATION CODES THROUGH GAMESTOP! !!!!!!!!! Guy1 thanks for being cool and polite....
Read moreI went with my little brother, who had his own money to buy the new pokemon set. We was the 2nd and 3rd in line, there was alot of product, which stressed my brother out. When it was time to go into the store, the associate named Brian. Stopped me from going into the store with my little brother, who I knew would need help. From my point of view Brian basically dragged my brother into the store. As soon as my brother went into the store and to the desk, I immediately got a text asking for help. The guy was super rude to my little 14 year old brother. He was trying to get the ETB, blister, and 5 packs. But Brian was rushing him and stressing him out, a kid who is still learning things! I couldn't help him cause I wasn't allowed into the store at the time! After my brother came out he took me into the store and was the rudest worker iv ever seen, idk his problem, but if he's always this rude and mad then, he shouldn't work retail. My brother was happy for the release up until this point the whole ride home he was upset. I don't see how people can be this rude,...
Read moreI'm a 6foot tall 300lbs man ! Guess cause I wasn't wearing a zelda tshirts I wasn't worth helping out. Games are not what I do or like but my 6 and 4 year old little boys love it! And thanks to the little tiny man behind the counter who keep calling me hun. I'm dealing with a 4 year old with a birthday gift he can't play! Cause it's for the wrong system. It's was no secret I have no idea about these games. Anyone could tell by the amount of questions I was asking. I'd think the owners of this store would want employees to be more helpful! Cause like any parent if my kids like something I spend money! Less than some more than others. But after I try retuning the games I purchased tomorrow I'll not be doing business with them again. It's a simple idea if people are spending money in your store you should be helpful and less of a jerk. I'm positive I could walk you through my profession and have you feeling like a complete idiot like you did me remember that...
