Marshalls — Local services in Fort Oglethorpe

I'm absolutely furious. I go to this location frequently. My recent visit I witnessed two women pushing carts heaping with items that were not bagged. I thought it was odd. I asked the cashier if I'd just seen what I thought may be shoplifting (looting) . I asked about loss prevention and was told that they didn't have any and had been advised not to notify police. I heard a commotion behind me and a customer had confronted two other women with carts full, telling the cashier that they were with the other two. One of the women threatened to mace the woman who confronted them about the theft. They also pushed their carts out and got in the car with the other two. I feel like this is a potentially hazardous place for employees and shoppers that needs to be addressed immediately! Theft is never acceptable but to endanger workers and guests by not addressing these things can definitely lead to bigger problems and higher prices...

I wish i looked at the name of the helpful young man in the back that was patient with my questions and guided me towards my puppy items that i purchased. Also want to thank the young man checking me out at his register and also being kind since they were about to close. I tried to let whomever was at the door that they were very helpful towards me but maybe she didn’t hear me. Im sure they were ready to go, anyway, just wanted to say thanks and let their employees know that I appreciated them making my shopping experience easy and enjoyable. Spent a couple of hours here today. I love their hair, bath, body and skin care section because they carry some of my favorite hair care products and I can always find something to treat myself to a spa like treatment on those days I need some pampering but just want to take a good relaxing bath and climb back in my jammies. They really have something for everyone in your family even your pets. Plenty of Christmas decorations to choose from as well. They were busy so plan a little extra time and grab a buggy if standing and holding your items is an issue (it is for me).
